Dolby Cinema stands out as a completely different experience thanks to its use of Dolby Vision technology, which enables high dynamic range (HDR) projection in theaters—a major breakthrough in cinema. It delivers exceptionally deep blacks and striking contrast ratios unmatched by any other projection-based cinema technology. While LED-based systems like ONYX or Luxon offer similar performance, they operate on a fundamentally different display technology and aren't directly comparable to Dolby Cinema's projection approach.
