The simple past tense in English is used to describe actions or events that happened in the past and are no longer ongoing. It is typically formed by adding "-ed" to regular verbs, while irregular verbs have unique past forms. Here's a brief explanation with examples: Structure: - Affirmative: Subject + past form of the verb - Negative: Subject + did not (didn't) + base form of the verb - Question: Did + subject + base form of the verb? Usage: - To talk about completed actions in the past. - To describe a series of past events. - To express past habits or routines. Examples: - Affirmative: - She studied all night for the exam. - They visited Paris last summer. - Negative: - He didn't eat breakfast this morning. - They didn't go to the party. - Questions: - Did you watch the movie last night? - Did she like the gift? Key Point: The simple past tense often indicates that the action happened at a specific point in the past and is now finished. Irregular verbs like "go" (went) and "eat" (ate) have unique past forms that don't follow the regular "-ed" pattern.

The present perfect tense in English is used to describe actions or events that happened at some point in the past and have relevance to the present. It is formed by using the auxiliary verb "have" or "has" followed by the past participle of the main verb. Here's a concise explanation with examples: 1. Structure: - Affirmative: Subject + have/has + past participle - Negative: Subject + have/has + not + past participle - Question: Have/Has + subject + past participle 2. Usage: The present perfect is used for: - Actions that started in the past and continue into the present. - Actions that have just been completed. - Experiences in one's life. - Unspecified time in the past. 3. Examples: - Affirmative: - I have finished my homework. - She has visited Paris. - Negative: - They haven't eaten lunch yet. - He hasn't watched that movie. - Questions: - Have you ever traveled abroad? - Has he seen this before? 4. Key Point: The present perfect tense often emphasizes the result or completion of an action rather than the exact time it occurred. Remember that "have" is used with subjects like "I," "you," "we," and "they," while "has" is used with "he," "she," and "it." Also, contractions are common in spoken English, like "I've" for "I have" and "he's" for "he has."

The present continuous tense, also known as the present progressive tense, is used in English to describe actions or events happening at the current moment or during a specific timeframe around the present. It's formed by using the verb "to be" (am, is, are) followed by the base verb with "-ing" added to the end. For example: - "I am reading a book." (I'm reading right now.) - "She is studying for her exam." (She's focusing on her studies at this moment.) - "They are playing football this evening." (Their plans for the evening include playing football.) In essence, the present continuous tense helps convey ongoing actions or temporary situations in the present. It is a fundamental part of English grammar to express what is currently happening.

The Simple Present Tense is used to describe actions or situations that are habitual, factual, or generally true in the present time. Here's a complete explanation with examples: Structure: - In English, the Simple Present Tense is formed using the base form (infinitive) of the verb. For regular verbs, this is usually the same as the base form (e.g., "I eat"). - For third-person singular subjects (he, she, it), we typically add an -s to the base form of regular verbs (e.g., "She eats"). - In Arabic, the Simple Present Tense is formed by using the base form of the verb, with slight changes for different pronouns and conjugation rules. Usage: 1. Habitual Actions: Use the Simple Present to talk about actions that occur regularly or as a habit. - Example: "I eat breakfast every morning." 2. General Truths/Facts: Use it to state facts, general truths, or things that are always true. - Example: "The Earth revolves around the Sun." 3. Scheduled Events: Use it to express scheduled future events when accompanied by a time marker. - Example: "The train leaves at 2 PM tomorrow." Examples: 1. Affirmative Sentences: - I play football. - She reads books. - They live in New York. - Ali and Ahmed swim every weekend. 2. Negative Sentences (Add "do not" or "does not" before the base verb): - I do not play football. - She does not read books. - They do not live in New York. - Ali and Ahmed do not swim every weekend. 3. Questions (Use "do" or "does" at the beginning of the sentence): - Do I play football? - Does she read books? - Do they live in New York? - Do Ali and Ahmed swim every weekend? 4. Third-Person Singular (add -s to the base verb): - He eats breakfast. - She works hard. - It rains in the evening. Remember that there are irregular verbs in English that do not follow the regular -s ending rule for the third-person singular. For example, "go" becomes "he goes," not "he goeses." In Arabic, conjugation rules differ from English, and verbs are modified according to the subject and tense. Arabic verbs often have different patterns (forms) for the Simple Present Tense depending on the specific verb.

To learn English you need to practice constantly and conditionally: 1- Do not pay attention to what people say and negative things related to discouraging matters 2- Learning English through movies and series is a very unsuccessful method. Try to learn it by speaking with official speakers. 3- Try to understand the rules in English in order to facilitate speaking and forming sentences while speaking or writing. 4- Determine your dialect from now on and do not try to confuse yourself and mix two dialects at the same time 5- Memorize 5 vocabulary words daily, the sound, how to write, and the meaning and put them in a sentence to make it easier - Note: If you are suffering from difficulty in learning this language, you have many methods, do not depend on my method. Perhaps your understanding of another method is better than my method, in addition to trying as much as possible to be smooth and understand before memorizing. Greetings to all of you, Hamza 🌹
