Polygon co-founder: gaming offers huge potential for crypto 🎮 Sandeep Nailwal, the co-founder of the Ethereum scaling platform Polygon, believes Web3 gaming will become one of the biggest drivers of mass crypto adoption. Polygon and Immutable X partnered to build a scalable gaming blockchain utilizing Polygon's EVM-compatible zk-rollup tech. The Polygon co-founder discussed the benefits and drawbacks of decentralization. He noted that crypto is still in its nascent stage and that it is not necessary for networks to be fully decentralized from the get-go. Solana integrates AI and boosts grants fund to $10M The Solana Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to maintaining and developing the layer-1 Solana blockchain, has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) using a ChatGPT plugin. Current functions include purchasing NFTs, transferring tokens, inspecting transactions, interpreting public account data, and finding NFT collections by floor price. The Foundation has also increased funding for grants exploring the intersection of the Solana blockchain and AI to $10 million and has kicked off a three-month-long accelerator program for university students.
