Burn one candle at a time. Let the first candle burn fully which will take 30 minutes and then let the second candle burn half its way which will be 15 minutes approximately. Leave the room as the total estimated time becomes 45 minutes by then.

You have got two candles and each candle will burn for half an hour. You are put in dark room with a match stick. You have to measure exactly 45 minutes and come out of the room.

One more interview question.. Wil post answer after sometime.. Try to solve..

This channel runs by IT Professionals who are having more than 10+years in MNCs and channel s started for good deed to benifit everyone to refresh or upgrade skillsets... Please share this group with ur frnds so that more ppl get benefits out of this..

The best way to learn about a microcontroller is : 1. Select a microcontroller, preferably 8051 or a 8-bit PIC. 2. Select a development board for the controller. 3. Start writing basic programs like blinking LED, interfacing sensors or switch. 4. Advance by writing programs using all the peripherals of the microcontroller.

3) Can a pointer be volatile? If we see the declaration volatile int *p, it means that the pointer itself is not volatile and points to an integer that is volatile. This is to inform the compiler that pointer p is pointing to an integer and the value of that integer may change unexpectedly even if there is no code indicating so in the program.

2) Can a variable be both const and volatile? The const keyword make sure that the value of the variable declared as const can't be changed. This statement holds true in the scope of the program. The value can still be changed by outside intervention. So, the use of const with volatile keyword makes perfect sense.

1) What is the use of volatile keyword? The C's volatile keyword is a qualifier that tells the compiler not to optimize when applied to a variable. By declaring a variable volatile, we can tell the compiler that the value of the variable may change any moment from outside of the scope of the program. A variable should be declared volatile whenever its value could change unexpectedly and beyond the comprehension of the compiler. In those cases it is required not to optimize the code, doing so may lead to erroneous result and load the variable every time it is used in the program. Volatile keyword is useful for memory-mapped peripheral registers, global variables modified by an interrupt service routine, global variables accessed by multiple tasks within a multi-threaded application.

Am planning to post an embedded c interview question daily.. just for refreshing embedded c..

Just check yourself about quantum dots.. Bigger dots emit longer wavelengths like _ , while smaller dots emit shorter wavelengths like __ .

Hi guys.. V always try to cut down articles to a minimum.. but few contents are really necessary to understand it completely.. pls go through even if it's bit long to understand completely.. 🙏🙏

Larger and thinner display.. !!

COOL, SO WHAT CAN WE DO WITH QUANTUM DOTS? Quantum dots’ ability to precisely convert and tune a spectrum of light makes them ideal for LCD displays. From smartphones to tablets to TVs, we can make all the colors we see even better by remixing white light into red, green and blue components. Until now, the white light that LCDs have had to work with wasn’t very good, it contained a lot of blue and yellow but not very much red or green. This meant displays had to waste a lot of energy to make enough red and green for a bright display while also making for broad primary colors. With quantum dots we can design an ideal spectrum of white light for an LCD, one that contains only the red, green and blue that the display needs to make a great image. The precise spectrum created by the dots makes colors pure. And since we’re only making the colors the display needs we can use less power. The result is a display that’s brighter, more power efficient and incredibly vibrant.

WHAT ARE QUANTUM DOTS?? Each quantum dot is actually a tiny semiconductor -- which means it can convert incoming energy. The electronic characteristics of quantum dots are determined by their size and shape. This means we can control the color of light given off by a quantum dot just by changing its size. Bigger dots emit longer wavelengths like red, while smaller dots emit shorter wavelengths like green. Think of a guitar string. When a guitar string is shortened, it produces a higher pitch and when it is lengthened, it creates a lower pitch. The tune of a quantum dot – the wavelength of the light it emits – behaves in a similar way.
