Solidus Pool Update // As discussed last week, we have increased how many coins you need to mine to receive a payout from the pools. This will assist in wallet consolidation and payouts from both Solidus Core and Nova Wallet applications.

For users who have mined to their Nova Wallet address and are experiencing difficulties sending coins between each other or to exchanges, we recommend using the 'Combine TX' button on the Nova web wallet. Continue pressing it until you see the message 'No transactions to combine.' If you mined to your Solidus Core address using the Solidus Pool, consider sending approximately 250k coins per transaction to a new address within the same wallet. The exact amount may vary, so try different amounts until your wallet is successfully combined. To assist in managing your transactions, enable the 'Smart Coin Features' in your Solidus Core program, which will display all transactions and their data size. The sending issue arises when pool-mined transactions to an address contain more data than a VSolidus block can accommodate. Larger coin values sent in a single transaction tend to move more smoothly. This situation emerged because users mining wanted to monitor daily performance, even if they only received a minimal amount of one coin for their efforts. To address this, we may consider adjusting the threshold to limit more powerful contributors from receiving coins every 20 seconds, potentially changing it to once a day instead. If you believe this is a positive direction, we can recalibrate the pools tomorrow. We value your input and welcome any thoughts or suggestions you may have.

This week I was invited to join the British Government's Department for Business and Trade as part of the Northern Powerhouse delegation to Mobile World Congress. It was amazing to witness the different UK businesses from the North and their innovative ideas that are making a significant impact on the global market. My presence at the event allowed me to network with international businesses that were interested in integrating our Nova Wallet, VCode and the VSolidus API and Software Development Kits into their systems. The opportunity to showcase our innovative products and interact with potential clients was a priceless experience. What stood out in all my conversations was the shared vision of financial inclusion and the need for more secure solutions within logistics and money movement. These discussions highlighted the growing importance of secure financial transactions and digital identity, especially when it comes to cross-border transactions.
