Global Commodity Market Heatmap Global markets traded largely positive with strong momentum in equities and metals, while crude oil prices witnessed a sharp correction. US indices ended higher, led by gains in the Nasdaq 100 and Russell 2000, while the Nikkei surged nearly 3%, reflecting improved global risk sentiment. European indices including the DAX and Euro Stoxx also advanced. Crude oil prices dropped sharply, with WTI and Brent falling around 5%, easing concerns over geopolitical supply disruptions. Precious and industrial metals remained firm as gold, silver, platinum, and copper posted gains, supported by softer dollar sentiment. Bond prices strengthened across maturities, indicating easing yields, while the US dollar index slipped marginally. In agricultural commodities, oats, soybean meal, and orange juice gained, whereas sugar and wheat declined. Bitcoin also moved higher above 77,000, and the VIX index fell over 2%, signaling reduced market volatility and improved investor confidence.
