Dear friends, we were getting these kind of doubts recently, We thought of sharing it with you all. It may resolve others doubts as well. 🌟DOUBT—Sir i have one doubt,how can OBC students got selected at unreserved seats. Does the OBC students has to fill general while filling ONGC form.Please sir clear my doubt ✍🏻REPLY—All general seats(GEN) are considered as seats to be alloted based on merit. So, if an SC or OBC candidates gets a good rank like (AIR under 10 or so..) he can be included in the GEN seats. & the seats allotted to reserved SC/OBC wont be occupied. For ex- if a company releases seats like- GEN=20, SC=4, OBC=10. and an SC candidate gets AIR 1, then he will be included in GEN seats & 4 seats of SC wont be occupied. You can say that in this case SC candidates can occupy 24 seats & OBC candidates can occupy 30 seats based on merit & reservation.So, in any case first general category seats will be filled then reserved category seats will be filled. This is the way recruitment in reserved & open category done. Hope you gets it.
