When he leaves his physical body, and when his name is spoken for the last time.
This mindset is why i will continue talking about my friend Ronald Pileggi (Big man), And in this life i work towards being a man that others will speak of.
Ron was a man with an abnormally high IQ, It was sometimes confusing how much of an intellectual he was. And how he could recite information like he was a damn encyclopedia. He coped with his intelligence by getting into drugs, then into eating. And got fat as fuuuuuuuuuuu.
While training with us however we gave him a new purpose, and fitness and health became his new addiction and he lost over 100lbs.
Fattest man i have ever seen climb these mountains around Rainier.
When asking him how he was while we were climbing, he would regularly say “don’t worry, i’ll get there”…He didn’t let us take any of his gear….HE will get it there. (mind you he was panting and wheezing while saying this)
I had never seen a man put in so much effort into being a better man than Ron, He even helped line up multiple deals for my company in the beginning of all this. Ron was an incredible friend that has now been gone, longer than he was my friend. But he made this large an impact on my life.
Big man was a ride or die.
And for as long as i am alive, I will never let the name Ronald Pileggi die. | 751 |
