Patriotic Alternative National Camp Over the weekend, Patriotic Alternative held our national summer camp and hike in the beautiful English countryside. Nationalists attended from the top of Scotland to the South Coast of England. Our people had a great time enjoying fantastic food, games, laughs and each other’s company. The hike was a harsh walk spanning over 6 hours across the tall hills of Mam Tor and walking through a picturesque village. It was a true test of our abilities! Email | Website | Join | Donate

Today in Welsh history… 7 July 1916, the 38th (Welsh) Division were given the order to attack Mametz Wood during the First Battle of the Somme. The 38th (Welsh) Division, was made up of Welsh volunteers, the ‘pals battalions’, who had arrived in the trenches in January 1916. In the initial advances on Mametz Wood they were forced to retreat due to the intensity of the German machine gun fire from the wood. The Division were ordered to regroup and attack for a second time on the 10 July. This time they succeeded in reaching the wood but it was not cleared of German troops until the 12 July after a brutal struggle, much of it involving hand-to-hand combat. The Welsh Division lost more than 4,000 men during the course of the five day attack.

Today in Welsh history… 28 June 1960, at approximately 10:45, an explosion took place in the Six Bells Colliery, Abertillery, caused by an ignition of firedamp. Coal-dust in the air then ignited and the explosion spread killing 45 out of the 48 men who were working in that area of the mine. The Inspector of Mines later reported that the probable cause of the explosion was firedamp ignited by a spark from a stone falling onto a steel girder. Tony Williams who was 16 at the time was working as a trainee miner in a separate part of the pit. "We were underground working a separate section so we didn't have a clue what had happened. They just told us there had been an accident and we had to leave straight away. When I got out it was like something from a film. My mother and father were already there waiting, and when they saw me they just screamed and started to cry. Others weren't so lucky, and as we left we saw the rescuers getting ready to go down for them."

This weekend PA Wales activists were back again in St. Athan protesting the use of RAF St. Athan to house migrants. The dedicated team received an overwhelmingly positive reception from locals as they made it clear that it’s time the Welsh government put our own people first. Get involved! GERMANY: A group of 9 "youths" gang raped a 15-year-old German girl for several hours. The gang rapists were released on probation. A 20-year-old woman then called them "ekelhafte Missgeburt" on WhatsApp which translates to disgusting freak. This woman was then sentenced to 2 days in jail for this “crime”. In Germany you will now spend longer in jail for insulting a rapist than the rapist spends in jail for raping an underage girl.
