Morning Market Outlook Indian equities are poised for a measured start on Wednesday, with positive global cues expected to underpin sentiment, although elevated crude oil prices and persistent geopolitical tensions are likely to temper risk appetite. Asian markets are trading sharply higher, led by a rally in technology shares, with South Korea's Kospi surging more than 5% and Japan's Nikkei 225 advancing nearly 2%. The strong performance across regional equities reflects improving investor confidence and a broader shift toward risk assets. Still, gains in domestic markets may remain measured as crude oil prices continue to hover near the $84–85 per barrel range. The renewed strength in oil is keeping investors cautious over its potential impact on India's inflation outlook, import bill and corporate margins, limiting the scope for aggressive buying despite the constructive global backdrop.  Domestically, the first-quarter earnings season is gathering pace, with corporate results expected to drive stock-specific moves as investors look beyond broader macroeconomic themes. Institutional flows offered a constructive signal, with Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) turning net buyers on July 21, purchasing equities worth around ₹1,600 crore. Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs), meanwhile, booked profits, ending the session as net sellers with outflows of approximately ₹657 crore. Technical view Nifty 50 Nifty 50 is likely to trade with a cautiously constructive bias, building on its previous closing structure of 24,188. The index continues to hold above its 20, 50, and 100-day EMAs, but remains capped below the 200-day EMA at 24,393, keeping the 24,300–24,400 zone as the key overhead resistance. A sustained breakout above this band could pave the way for a move towards 24,500–24,600, whereas failure to clear it may keep the index consolidating within its recent range. On the downside, 24,100 remains the immediate support, followed by the crucial 24,000 psychological zone. A decisive break below 24,000 could trigger renewed selling pressure and drag the index towards 23,900–23,800. Overall, the near-term technical outlook remains cautiously constructive, with a decisive move above 24,300 needed to shift the bias bullish, and a break below 24,000 required to open further downside. Bank Nifty Bank Nifty continues to hold a cautious undertone, though it remains constructive by trading above all key moving averages, the 20, 50, 100, and 200-day EMAs, as the index attempts to stabilize after recent weakness. The 58,000–58,100 zone stands as the immediate resistance, and a sustained move above this could revive bullish momentum, paving the way for an advance towards 58,400, followed by the 58,600–58,700 resistance zone. On the downside, the 57,600–57,500 region remains a crucial support zone, and holding above this level is essential to prevent further weakness. A decisive break below it, however, could accelerate selling pressure and drag the index towards 57,300–57,200. Overall, the near-term technical outlook stays cautious. A sustained close above 58,000 would meaningfully improve the setup, while a break below 57,500 would tilt the bias negative.
