Option a is the correct answer. The difference in two consecutive numbers in the series is 4 (24-20) 9 (33-24) 25 (58-33) 49 (107-58) Thus, we can see it is pattern of square of prime numbers. 2^2 , 3^2, 5^2 , 7^2, And thus, the next number should be in the above pattern 11^2 So, 107 + 11^2 = 107+121 = 228

Statements 1 and 3 are correct: Lonar Lake, also known as Lonar crater, is a saline, soda lake, located at Lonar, 79 km from Buldhana city in Buldhana district, Maharashtra, India. It is a notified National Geo-heritage Monument. Lonar Lake lies within the only known extraterrestrial impact crater found within the great Deccan Traps, a huge basaltic formation in India. The lake was initially believed to be of volcanic origin, but now it is recognized as an impact crater. Lonar Lake was created by the impact of either a comet or of an asteroid. It is one of only four known hyper-velocity impact craters in basaltic rock anywhere on Earth. Statement 2 is correct: The water in the lake is both saline and alkaline. Lonar Lake generated due to the meteor impact on basaltic rock is unique on the earth. The water is alkaline with pH of 10-10.5; this high alkalinity is due to the high concentration of sodium carbonate (Jhingram and Rao 1954) and had been exploited for manufacture of soda since fairly ancient days.

Statement 1 is incorrect: When the President's office becomes vacant due to resignation, impeachment, death, or other reasons, the Vice-President assumes the role of President. He can serve as President for a maximum of six months before a new President is elected. If the President is absent, ill, or otherwise unable to perform their duties, the Vice-President takes over until the President returns to office. Statement 2 is correct: The Vice-President can serve beyond their five-year term until a successor takes over. He is also eligible for reelection to that position. He can be elected for any number of terms. Statement 3 is correct: If an office becomes vacant due to resignation, removal, death, or other reasons, an election should be held as soon as possible. The newly elected vice-president serves a full five-year term starting on the date of assumption of office

A cess is a tax on taxes charged by the Central Government for a specific purpose, such as funding specific projects like Swachh Bharat or education. It is based on the total tax liability and must be used only for the purpose for which it was introduced. A surcharge is an additional tax imposed on the tax liability of individuals or entities with a higher income bracket. It can be used for any purpose determined by the Central Government. Individuals earning more than Rs50 lakh per year are subject to a tax surcharge, while taxable income exceeding Rs50 lakh but less than ₹1 crore is subject to a 10% surcharge. Both cess and surcharge are deposited in the Consolidated Fund of India (CFI) and remain under the sole control of the Union government.

The Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) has released a paper highlighting India's significant improvement in the Female Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) between 2017-18 and 2022-23. The study found that rural areas experienced a significant increase, rising from 24.6% to 41.5%, while urban areas saw an increase from 20.4% to 25.4%. Bihar, Punjab, and Haryana have consistently reported low female LFPR, despite their different economic circumstances. Northern states like Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh have seen significant increases in female LFPR, mostly in rural areas. Married women, mainly in urban areas, have a lower LFPR than men, while married men have a higher LFPR than women in the same demographic. Female LFPR peaking between the ages of 30 and 40 and then rapidly declining thereafter. Male LFPR remains high (nearly 100%) from ages 30 to 50 before gradually declining, suggesting that men tend to stay in the workforce longer than women.

The term "decoupling" refers to the breaking of the link between economic growth and environmental degradation. Historically, economic growth has been linked to environmental damage, particularly greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. It aims to promote economic growth while reducing or eliminating negative environmental impacts, mostly in the form of emissions. Statement 1 is incorrect: Absolute decoupling occurs when the economy grows while emissions decrease. It shows the ideal form of decoupling, in which economic growth occurs without increasing environmental harm. Statement 2 is incorrect: Relative decoupling occurs when both GDP and emissions increase, but GDP growth exceeds emissions growth. This represents progress, but emissions continue to rise, however at a slower rate than GDP.

Statement 1 is incorrect: The Arab Spring was a series of anti-government protests, uprisings, and armed rebellions that spread through much of the Arab world in the early 2010s. It started in Tunisia as a response to corruption and economic stagnation. The protests began in Tunisia and spread to five other countries: Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain. Rulers were deposed (Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia in 2011, Muammar Gaddafi of Libya in 2011, Hosni Mubarak of Egypt in 2011, and Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen in 2012). Statement 2 is correct: The term "Levant" refers to the historical and geographical subregion that borders the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to the west and core West Asia, also known as the Middle East in politics. In its broadest historical sense, the Levant included all of the Eastern Mediterranean, including its islands; that is, all of the countries along the Eastern Mediterranean shores, extending from Greece in Southern Europe to Egypt and Cyrenaica (Eastern Libya) in Northern Africa.
