एकै साधे सब सधै, सब साधे सब जाय। ‘रहिमन’ मूलहि सींचिबो, फूलहि फलहि अघाय॥ Targeting one goal will lead to all, targeting many goals lead to achievement of none Rahim says by watering the roots only we get flowers and fruits. Also, coal fired power plants and steel production are highly vulnerable to stress. Average annual water availability per capita is likely to drop to 1367 cubic metres by 2031 from 1486 in 2021. Usage gs1 water crisis, gs3 India as global engine of growth, sovereign credit rating, development, growth and environment connectedness. Lamdmark Case:The Mary Roy vs State of Kerala 1986,case serves as a classic example of how determined individuals can challenge entrenched societal norms. (Ms Mary Roy, a widow, was tortured and humiliated by her brothers on a regular basis. Her brothers insisted that she leave their father’s cottage, which they claimed as their own. The brothers also hired goons to threaten her with physical violence if she did not leave the area.) Mary Roy, a fearless educator and women's rights activist, stood against the oppressive Travancore Christian Succession Act of 1916, which grossly discriminated against Christian women in Kerala, depriving them of equal inheritance rights. Her battle was not just for personal justice but for the fundamental right to equality for all women. For decades, the women of Kerala’s Christian community were deprived of their rightful share in ancestral property, a stark violation of the principles of equality enshrined in the Indian Constitution. Mary Roy’s fight reached the Supreme Court, resulting in a historic judgment that declared the Indian Succession Act, 1925, as the governing law for Christian inheritance, thereby nullifying the discriminatory provisions of the Travancore Act. Usage in gs1 gender justice, gs2 Hon'ble SC as guardian of the Constitution, property rights,gs4 gender ethics, essay on courage, fighting injustice single handedly, determination, will power, success #gender_equality Regards Team Steel Frame Academy

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः। यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफला क्रिया:॥ Where women are honoured, divinity blossoms there. And where they are Dishonoured, all actions remain unfruitful. This shloka is taken from Manusmriti,Chapter 3,Verse 56. Bottom line:A family, society and nation can be  developed and prosperous only when women have equal rights and opportunities to utilise their potential, talent and bring out the best version of themselves. Such a family, society and nation is blessed with wealth, knowledge and happiness. Vandana Shiva even said "With the violation of nature is linked the violation and marginalization of women, especially in the Third World. Women produce and reproduce life not merely biologically, but also through their social role in providing sustenance.“ If women are marginalised, not given rights, opportunities to develop, then a family, society and nation can't progress and even it's deterioration is certain. Just like a cart cannot move on one wheel, a bird can't fly with one wing similarly a nation cannot progress if half the population are marginalised. Use this in gs1 women empowerment related questions, gs 2 questions of government schemes for vulnerable sections, gs 4 feminist ethics, case studies related to sexual harassment and essay on women empowerment. Case study:Puja Khedkar, a 2023 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, recently attracted controversy for using her private Audi car with a red-blue beacon light and VIP number plate. She also demanded facilities not typically available to probationary officers in the IAS. Report submitted by Pune collector Suhas Diwse to the General Administration Department, Khedkar repeatedly requested a separate cabin, car, residential quarters, and a peon before even starting her training. The larger question friends we need to ask to ourselves is it the perks that should solely motivate us or is motivating us for this competitive exam. Is clearing the exam a passport to luxurious, royal living or it is for a larger purpose? Why we as a 'society in transition' crave for unbridled power and luxurious living? Are the entitlements given by the government an end in itself or a means to an end, that is to serve the downtrodden and the marginalized, to make a measurable impact in their live? Are we losing ourselves in this mad race or basic idea of the race was to discover ourselves better? We need to introspect ourselves and try to have clarity. Anyway, coming back, this case study can be used in gs4 to show bureaucratic mindset, ivory-tower bureaucracy, Gandhiji Seven Social Sins, Pleasure without conscience, case study and essay #power_abuse Long live India, long live Indian's and long live 'Dev Bhasha'.
