As a designer, I sometimes spice up my work with extra vibes.
When working on prompts for fantasy character generation, I blast some RPG fantasy playlist and dive right into that universe, making everything just a bit more fun. And when it comes to creating art in the style of monochrome, old-school interface, I crank up Future Garage or some other electronic tunes, and boom — I'm in a hacker's space, like I'm breaking into the government systems.
In the future, I plan to choose a theme for my walls and wake up already in the project.

I love living on the ground floor with uncurtained windows. I love to note those who laugh, who walk by, and who fix the street. I like to watch thunderstorms, sky and the trees. Probably, it’s because I spent my whole childhood gazing at the street through the same window.
Inside or outside, the view connects us. I like seeing people’s domestic routine from the street. Some may cook, others may watch TV. You feel connected, surrounded by many lives. It gives the street a friendly vibe. As if there are no walls between us. I don’t like when everyone on the street chooses to hide behind the curtains.
That’s why I’m not shy leaving my windows uncovered in the evening when they look their best. An open window is an endless showcase of people’s lives.
No, I don't peer into windows like a madman. I simply enjoy the open view — unless you’ve launched a rival product to mine, then I'm gonna make you crazy.

Adam has translated my text to English for “Lost Playground”, the second issue of “Unhinged Print Magazine”. This issue is all about childhood. Now, you can read ”Vanya 1995, Native Edition”, featuring creepy generated sharks.

Determinism is an intriguing theory until it starts to interfere with people's ability to reward themselves for ethical conduct and live by their moral principles. To thrive, it's essential to take responsibility for your mistakes and make your own choices, even if they seem predestined

Natural talent is overrated. What people often call talent is actually the result of sustained, passionate work. Believing otherwise is just a comforting tale for the slackers, to justify a lack of effort. When you look at the journey of highly accomplished individuals, it's clear they've worked their asses off to get where they are. If I were to assume that someone's success is due to natural talent, it would feel like I'm devaluing their high aspirations
I'm sorry, it’s not the work of a god, it's their own work. This person is not naturally talented, they did a great job

Lately, I've realized that girls are only interested in me for my drafts of drum and bass tracks. It's like they’re out there somewhere, dancing and creating music without me. And they are also taking all of the fucking parts of the tracks they liked from other men, and mixing them having a blast, having a fucking awesome times getting high. SHIT, without me?! If she asks something about Ableton on the first date, I’m suddenly getting a call from Ben. I need to step away for a moment — this is a matter of badonkadonk importance. I hightail it out of this bar and they’ll never hear from me again.
There is another type of girls (I’M ALREADY SHAKING AS I M wRITING THIS!!!). These girls are interested only in my smile, in my open-mindedness, in my sense of humor, and especially in my endless love and positive vibes. She asks me when was the last time I cried, inquires about my blog, and probes into my idea of a perfect relationship. This is none of your fucking business, bitch! All you need to know is that I HAVE A SALARY. Did I miss the memo that drugs are being given away for free? When I notice this type of girls, I just pay the bill and leave. She would try to catch up to split the bill, running and stumbling. Yeah, right, don’t sweat. I’m already three blocks away from this disaster date.
Do modern women even give a fuck that I’m earning money? Is this no longer important in a man?

I love to look back at my life and reflect on chain of spontaneous events that changed everything, like a butterfly effect.
Let me share a story. Ten years ago bored in lectures, my classmates and I began creating difficult dilemmas, like: «lose an arm or both legs» or «have a conversation with your self 10 or 80 year old». After that I was creating more detailed dilemmas and started a group on vk.com for them. After three hundred polls, I ran out of ideas. One evening I created a chat for people, who could suggest their ideas. A day later we all forgot the chat’s original purpose and just became friends, chatting daily for the next 4 years. I love them.
I often visited these friends in various Russian cities: Novosibirsk, Saint-Petersburg and Moscow. During one of my visits to Tori in Moscow, I met her boyfriend Sasha. He introduced me to libertarianism and invited me to the meeting of Moscow members of Libertarian Party of Russia. Sasha was working on the party’s website and I offered to design it. Subsequently, I designed many projects and joined the circle of active people. I love them.
Alexander Good joined the party just before my eyes and invited me to Geecko, where I have been working for 4 years. Egor introduced me to the world of crypto trading and connected me with many traders. It feels pointless to list everything, given the depth of the untold parts of my story. I visited my friends in Georgia and Turkey, and I’m in Armenia now, with people I love.
I told the story in a nutshell. It’s astonishing how the spontaneous decisions I made years ago have led me to this point.
One step often influences the next thousands. One encounter often influences the next ten. A single decision can shape years to come. I suggest looking into the butterfly effect and the value of small decisions in our life.
What spontaneous step will I take next? I tell myself: «stay hungry, say yes, let’s do it»
