The difference between “true” and “truth.” True = adjective “That’s not true. It’s a lie.” Truth = noun “I’m telling you the truth.” 2 common mistakes: “Tell me the true.” ❌ “Say the true.” ❌ “Tell me the truth.” ✅ “Say the truth.” ✅ #english #learningenglish 🏛 For more, join us via👇 ⚡️  @doniyors_official_channel1 ⚡️  @doniyors_speaking_club

There are two things you need to accept when learning a new language: 1. You won't understand everything, especially at the beginning. Do not try to understand every single word. Just keep going and focus on getting regular input. 2. Learning takes time. You won't learn a language in 3 months. It's a lifelong commitment. Accept these two things, do your best not to get discouraged, and you will make progress. <3 #English #learningenglish #languagelearning 🏛 For more, join us via👇 ⚡️  @doniyors_official_channel1 ⚡️  @doniyors_speaking_club

If you work with the public, here are two useful sentences you can use with people who are waiting for you to talk to them. "I'll be right with you." ✅ "I'll be with you in a moment." ✅ And of course, you can say "Thank you for your patience" before or after you use one of the sentences above, or when you actually attend to the person/client/customer/etc. 🙂 Can you think of other useful sentences for this situation? #English #learningenglish #customerservice 🏛 For more, join us via👇 ⚡️  @doniyors_official_channel1 ⚡️  @doniyors_speaking_club

When you are learning a new language, there is a difference between KNOWING or BEING FAMILIAR WITH something--and USING something. You might know that the past of "go" is "went," but maybe you don't use it consistently when you speak. This takes time, persistence, and paying careful attention to your words. This is also why many English training programs repeat topics at different levels. Even the simple past is often re-taught in advanced English classes--because being familiar with something is not enough ("Teacher! I know this! We learned it two months ago!"). It is only with regular focused practice that you can turn what you know into what you use with consistent accuracy. So, stay humble and keep practicing. You can do it. 👍 #English #learningenglish 🏛 For more, join us via👇 ⚡️  @doniyors_official_channel1 ⚡️  @doniyors_speaking_club

👣"Think on your feet"👣 "To do this job well, you need to be able to think on your feet." If you can think on your feet, you're able to think quickly and react to changing situations effectively. Do you need to think on your feet at your job? 🙂 Question: Does that mean "watch your step” ? Didn’t get it Answer: No, it has a different meaning than that. To watch your step means to be cautious and to be careful—to pay attention where you step. To think on your feet means you can think quickly and react effectively when the situation changes. Most athletes have to think on their feet because they need to constantly respond to changing situations. 🏛 For more, join us via👇 ⚡️  @doniyors_official_channel1 ⚡️  @doniyors_speaking_club
