A very large chunk of what's been holding me back from doing art as much as I used to over the last year or so was down to me getting in my own head, about how I should only post stuff that's up to my standards. I was silly and didn't actually nail down those standards so I was chasing some very rapidly moving goalposts and tiring myself out mentally and emotionally. (And I don't have very much in the way of reserves of either these days.) I'm trying to quash that! I need to care less about my work because I got far too fixated on quality I couldn't achieve since I couldn't define what that level of quality needed! It's a whole waste of effort so please don't do that to yourself.

Me talking to friends about how I got randomly put in a lobby with 3 of the top 100 players. The game then puts me in a lobby with 4 of the top 100 players. Great! Bye points! It is DETERMINED to keep me from maintaining emerald rank lol But I got there once you're not keeping me out forever

You minorly inconvenience me in a kart racer, I'm putting you in the book of grudges. No I'm not writing down what you did, I'm putting you in there like I'm pressing a flower. Items' strength and weirdly getting stuck in crossworlds are two intensely aggravating issues!

It's really wild that I'm never happy to see wisps in lower placements compared to Mario Kart's mushrooms. Absolutely crazy that they only let me cut offroad but otherwise give speed boosts equivalent of just regular drift boosting.
