Other ROMs and their features also help Evo flourish so let's not forget ROMs such as ABC, AICP, Arrow, Aosip, Bliss, Carbon, crDroid, Derp, DU, Extended, Havoc, ion, MSM, Omni, Paranoid, POSP, Revenge, PixelDust, Pixys, StatiX, Syberia for providing important additions that complete the Evolution X experience.

Let's also make one thing clear, the Evo team never said anything about owning AOSP code nor being the perfect ROM. We also previously made mistakes and we're still learning from them.
What we are discouraging is the behavior from some developers who just rebrand our ROM, change a few icons, wallpapers, add some features and calling it another ROM. It is unfair to all the time and effort we put into this project and to all contributors that helped along the way.
We always credited the PE team and Henrique for our Pie base and we still use most of their repos as our base for Ten (except the frameworks/base and Settings repos). We also lean on LOS for most hardware related repos as well.
We hope incidents like these won't occur again.

We've talked things through we RevOS and they've decided to give us the credits as well as to publicized their source code as well. It can be found here: https://gitlab.com/revos-aospq

Current status of our new OTA app will include the current Evolution X version you are on!
The OTA app is only included in OFFICIAL builds.

Even the addition of the security patch level code is different. Someone tell Havoc's dev to stop assuming everything is his code.

Just a follow up to our previous announcement, our external contributors have also changed the design aspects of the OTA app by adding changelogs to be shown within the app itself. :)
No one owns Google's design guidelines and we're allowed to imitate their design as we would like.

They reached out to the Evolution team and offered to let us use the OTA app they have been developing and we're glad that we will be able to include it in our ROM starting today! 💛
ROM updates will still be in FULL SIZES to avoid any bugs that may occur with incremental updates.

Good day. As we've observed in the past couple of days after releasing the March updates, most devices have a failing ctsProfile even though we've updated them to reflect Pixel 4 XL's March update build fingerprint.
This seems to be an issue directly caused by Google as even some legitimate Pixel devices have been failing cts as well as seen in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-4-xl/help/march-update-ctsprofile-false-clean-t4062987, among loads of other threads in the Magisk forum of XDA.
This is a Google issue therefore Evolution currently doesn't have any permanent fixes for it at the moment.
