👉@sysadminoff https://www.opennet.ru/opennews/art.shtml?num=66133

👉@sysadminoff https://www.opennet.ru/opennews/art.shtml?num=66130

👉@sysadminoff https://www.opennet.ru/opennews/art.shtml?num=66129

Ubuntu 26.10 ‘Stonking Stingray’ hits feature freeze Ubuntu 26.10, codenamed ‘Stonking Stingray’, has just hit feature freeze (as of August 24). From this point onwards, development focus shifts from landing major changes to improving them, along with the rest of the package set, ahead of the final, stable Ubuntu 26.10 release in October. “Ideally, you should all now be focusing on bug fixing rather than getting new features into the release”, said Paride Legovini, engineer at Canonical, in a post on the Ubuntu developer mailing list. However, the final makeup of Ubuntu 26.10 – which will offer GNOME 51, more Rust tooling and GPU driver management in […] You're reading Ubuntu 26.10 ‘Stonking Stingray’ hits feature freeze, a blog post from OMG! Microsoft’s leaked Project Aion tried to replace Windows with Copilot Leaked Microsoft documents and video reveal Project Aion, a working Copilot-only operating system that replaced the Windows desktop with an AI-driven web shell. Designed for PCs and potentially Android-based devices, Aion abandoned the Start menu and Win32 apps in favor of task-focused conversations, while Microsoft’s current priorities suggest the project is unlikely to ship.
