📢 Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 Call Info Day Researchers, universities, research organizations, and industry partners are invited to join the online MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 Info Day on 3 June 2026 (09:30–12:30 CEST). The event will provide detailed information about the newly opened €593 million MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 call, including key requirements, evaluation criteria, and the latest updates, with special attention to Industrial Doctorates and Joint Doctorates. 🔹 Learn about the new RAISE Doctoral Networks (Resources for AI Science in Europe) pilot initiative. 🔹 Discover additional funding opportunities for projects integrating Artificial Intelligence in scientific research. 🔹 Explore support for the development of advanced AI tools, systems, and methodologies under Horizon Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for universities, research institutions, companies, and prospective applicants to prepare competitive proposals and build strong international consortia.

On 21–22 May 2026, a Training and Meet & Exchange Workshop dedicated to the MSCA Doctoral Networks was organized, bringing together NCPs from around the world. Uzbekistan was represented by Ms. G.Karlibaeva, the NCP for MSCA in Uzbekistan. The workshop provided an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the MSCA Doctoral Networks scheme, exchange experiences and best practices with fellow NCPs and discuss effective approaches to supporting researchers and institutions in preparing competitive proposals. The event was highly productive and informative, offering valuable insights into proposal development, evaluation procedures, consortium building and international cooperation under Horizon Europe. Participants engaged in interactive discussions, networking activities and peer-learning sessions, which contributed to strengthening collaboration among NCPs and enhancing support mechanisms for the research community.

FIAS Fellowship Call 2027–2028 is now open! As a partner of the French Institutes for Advanced Study (FIAS) Fellowship Programme, the University of Montpellier offers 10-month fellowships (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action) at its MAK’IT institute in Montpellier. 💥 Horizon Europe Training Session Today, a training session titled “Horizon Europe: From Call Text to Competitive Proposal – Understanding Calls, Evaluation & Proposal Writing” will take place at 12:30. This session will provide a focused, practice-oriented introduction to developing competitive proposals under Horizon Europe. Participants will gain guidance on how to interpret call texts, understand evaluation criteria, and structure proposals in line with evaluator expectations. Particular attention will be given to the core principles of Excellence, Impact, and Implementation, as well as common weaknesses observed in proposal submissions. The session will also highlight upcoming 2026 funding opportunities, including Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and selected Cluster calls, offering practical insights into how to position project ideas effectively.
