INTO and ESN FINT are organizing the legendary Welcome Week Pub Crawl on 4th of Jan! This is an awesome event to explore the vibrant bar culture of Tampere with student discounts. 🤩 We warmly welcome all new and old students to join, as well as the tutors! 🌃🍺 Everyone can join the crawl, even if you do not drink alcohol. We have asked each bar to offer also  non-alco drinks too. 🤗 The starting point is in the city center campus in front of Main Building (Kalevantie 4). Maps are handed out from 16:30 until 17:30! Starter Kit Return times for Autumn 2023: We will arrange Starter Kit return sessions on the following dates/times: Friday 15.12. from 16-18 Monday 18.12. from 16-18 Wednesday 20.12. from 16-18 Friday 22.12. from 16-18 Wednesday 27.12. from 17-18 Friday 29.12. from 17-18 The return sessions are held in the Päätalo Basement on the Hervanta campus, near INTOs Guildroom. From next to the main entrance, take the elevator down and follow signs on the walls. Important notes: 👉 IF you have borrowed a kit from ESN FINT, you need to return in to them. Similarly ESN FINT will not accept kits borrowed from INTO. 👉 Make sure you return the kits with its original contents, the list of items can be found here! If there are missing items, we will deduct the price of purchasing a new similar item from the returned deposit. 👉 Donating extra items is possible if you wish - we appreciate donations a lot! ❤️ In case of donations, please hand out the items in a separate bag than the starter kit items for the convenience of sorting the kits! 👉 If the times don't work for you, try first arranging another person to return the kit in behalf of you. In case that doesnt work, contact @Saliktq for special arrangements. 👉 To make sure we dont run out of change, if possible, bring change so that you can accept a 50€ note as a return deposit. e.g. if you are returning both kits and no extra items, bring 10€ as change.

🚌 SYMPOSIUM BUSES! 🚌 We've arranged a bus to transport party people from Hervanta to Symposium and back 🫡 Here is all you need to know: Buses depart from Sähkötalo Parking Lot and arrive straight in front of Heidis. On the way back, the buses depart from in front of Heidis and drop people to Insinöörinkatu, Arkkitehdinkatu and Hervanta Campus. In addition the last departure bus of the night will have an extra stop to Annala. The bus costs you 4€ one way, payment is done on the spot either with cash or card. Look for a bust that reads "SYMPOSIUM" and arrive before the departure times for smooth queuing! Our team has been closely following the bus strike and we are ready to arrange transport between Hervanta Campus and Heidis Bier Bar if needed on Thursday! 🫡 We will send out information on transportation options tomorrow morning. We’re going to end this semester with a Finnish classic: International Kyykkä Tournament 🏆Hosted by INTO, TaSciEn, Urbanum and TIPSY!! The tournament will take place on Tuesday 12.12. from 16:00 - 20:00 in the back/Polymerhall parking lot in Hervanta. A huge thank you to TEK (@tekniikanakateemiset) for being the warmth of the students, as there will be snacks and hot drinks served! Prizes and eternal glory are to be won 🔥 ✨ Also: fuksi points available ✨ Kyykkä is played in teams of 4 and can be learned on the spot! So gather your mates, decide on a team name and captain and sign-up via the signup form which will be sent on the 6.12. The cost is 4€ per team.
