I have a selfish desire and depressive thought that's been flooding my head lately.
Is it possible to have more shares, retweets, comments, opinions or reactions how things are going? I need a reason to believe if my art is still worth a thing or if is just shit, I've been drawing for almost 2 decades and I feel like my style evolved the slightest.
I want to know if is worth to make art every day, putting effort to what some call expensive for less.
This last artwork took me weeks to make it, is heavy af, almost 250 versions and weights like 4 gb but for what? Amount is not quality. I barely see people commenting and some just ignore and keep sending more drawings from other artists in the group, so what's the point? It's not enough.
Over time, I’ve really started to doubt my own artwork, and that makes it increasingly difficult to maintain a mindset if I'm doing this correct or not in terms to attract more audience. It's always competition.
You can call this a mental breakdown but sometimes I wonder if I no longer measure up to the current social media landscape anymore, or sometimes I prefer to stop existing.
