🇰🇼🇺🇸🏴☠️⚔️🇮🇷The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, condemned Iran’s attacks on Kuwait — which targeted yet another of Kuwait’s power plants and desalination facilities — describing them as violations of international law. It also recalled the baseless and performative Resolution 2817 (submitted to the UN Security Council by hostile Arab states of the Persian Gulf, condemning Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz), and declared that Kuwait reserves its right to respond.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity and Water likewise announced that, during Iran’s Saturday attacks on Kuwait, another power plant and desalination facility were struck. Emergency measures to stabilize the grid are underway, and citizens have been urged to conserve electricity, especially during peak hours, to help maintain network stability.
In this context, it must once again be emphasized to the Kuwaiti regime that “allowing other states to use one’s territory to commit acts of aggression” constitutes a violation of Article 3 of UN Resolution 3314. Kuwait and other hostile Arab states in the region have been the first violators of international law since the very first day of the 40‑day war.
