📖.....For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body (1 Corinthians 11:29).

The Holy Communion is far more than a religious ritual or symbolic observance. It’s a divine ordinance instituted by the Lord Jesus Himself, carrying profound spiritual significance and power. In having the Communion with His disciples, the Bible says the Lord took the bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to them and said, “this is my body” (Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, Luke 22:19).
He didn’t say, “This represents my body”; rather, He was specific. He said, “This is my body which is broken for you.” Likewise, concerning the Cup, the Apostle Paul wrote by the Spirit, “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?” (1 Corinthians 10:16).
Notice that the Scriptures never reduce the Communion to mere symbolism. Rather, through the power and ministry of the Holy Spirit, there’s a spiritual participation and fellowship with the body and blood of Christ. This is why the Bible admonishes us to discern the Lord’s body when we partake of the Communion. To discern means to recognize accurately, to understand spiritually, and to respond with faith.
When you receive the Communion, do so with the understanding of its divine import. The Apostle Paul explains that many were weak, sickly, and some even died because they failed to discern the Lord’s body correctly (1 Corinthians 11:29-30). But the opposite is equally true: when you partake with faith and revelation, the Communion becomes a channel of divine life, health, strength, and spiritual vitality.
As the food you eat becomes one with your physical body, so does the Holy Communion, received in faith, minister the realities of the divine life into your being. Therefore, when you partake of it, declare that the power of Christ is at work in you. Affirm that sickness, infirmity, weakness and disease have no place in your body because you’re a partaker of the life of Christ.
Never approach the Communion casually. Approach it reverently, joyfully, and with unwavering faith in the efficacy of Christ’s sacrifice. Through it, you reiterate the realities of His victory, life, health and righteousness, and that they’re manifested in you. Hallelujah!

KNOWING AND WALKING IN GOD’S PERFECT WILL…
Say these words after me, ‘I am in the centre of God’s will for my life; for I am the apple of God’s eye, and He takes pleasure in me. I am in sync with the Spirit, knowing and walking in God’s perfect will for me. I am led in the path of truth, for the wisdom of God is at work in me. Christ, the Anointed One, and His anointing live in me. All that the anointing represents; His life, power, glory, wisdom, righteousness, and grace, are expressed in and through me!
Christ in me is my confidence for a glorious, prosperous, and victorious life. My heart is stirred even now by the Word of God to gain the right inspiration! My mind is anointed to see and accept possibilities. I am powered and aglow in my spirit to impact the world of my time, through supernatural ideas inspired in me by the Spirit of God.
I am firmly established in God’s Word and His righteousness is expressed through me. The eyes of my understanding are enlightened with the revelations of God’s Word. I function with the ability of the Spirit always, not just in my desire and readiness to start up any endeavour, but also in bringing them to excellent fruition. Lights may be turned off everywhere; but no one can turn off the light that is in you, except yourself. The understanding of you is the foundation of living an outstanding life. It's not what is outside, but what is inside that takes one to the top.
Form follows thought, and the shape of your life is a product of that thought. Structure your time so you can structure your thoughts, for they provide the structure for your life. Don't let anyone who has done nothing stop you and make you belittle the dreams in your heart. God wouldn't have put a dream in your heart if He had not already given you everything you would need to fulfill it.

THE POWER OF THOUGHTS
You must have observed that we’ve been talking a lot about thoughts. That’s because there can’t be any meaningful discourse on the mind without constant reference to the material with which it functions—thoughts. In the second chapter, I defined thought as the creation, recalling, reviewing, and processing of images, for meaning, reason, language, and expression. Now as we delve further into the subject, you’ll see that thoughts are pictures of the mind with constructive or destructive possibilities, functioning with or within human emotions. In other words, they have the ability to influence your emotions. Sometimes they are imaginations, but they’re more than that.
Thoughts are conscious, mental constructions of your mind based on imaginations, information, or stimuli. Thoughts, therefore, are a stream of images that create meaning. You can’t think without meaning; if you do, it just means you’re not thinking. Real thinking is creating or setting one’s mind on a stream of images that create or have a meaning, and thus give a message. A man’s thoughts, if wrongly employed, can keep him in bondage and clog the wheels of his success and progress. On the other hand, he can experience glorious liberty as a result of his thoughts. That’s why the Bible in Philippians 4:8 counsels us to choose and think the right thoughts only. Many times we underestimate the power and possibilities of our thoughts.
*Until you change your thinking, you can’t change your life; you can’t change your state, and therefore, can’t change your estate.* Your life will always go in the direction of your thoughts. Your life will never be different from the character of your thoughts. You’re a reflection of your thoughts. Your life is the outward manifestation of the inner workings of your mind. That’s why understanding the importance of your thoughts and how to use them rightly is very vital. | 93 |
| 12 | I FLOURISH IN DIVINE HEALTH
God has stamped and certified me as a world-overcomer; therefore, I reign over the world and its systems. I reign over demons of infirmity and death. The life in my body is a repellent, and a destroyer of diseases and germs. I have the life of God in me. I have strength in me. I am confident that I dwell in perfect health today. I am born in the image and likeness of God. As He is, so am I in this world in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
I’m an associate of the God-kind, in vital, inseparable oneness and union with divinity. Christ lives in me! I’m the expression of His reality, His grace, glory, kingdom, power and personality! I’m the expression of His fullness; He is my completeness. It makes no difference what challenges I face in life; there’s a force - an empowerment - at work in me to blaze through the barriers.
I live out the transcendent life of excellence, greatness, and success inherent in my spirit, as I walk according to God’s Word today and always. I am a participator in the divine experience; the Father has made me a vessel fit for His sacred use, the centre of His operation in the earth.I fear no adversary, for Christ has already obtained the victory over every adversary, and my faith in the Word of God is the victory that overcomes the world. | 13 | FINANCIAL CONFESSIONS
The Lord is the portion of my inheritance; He maintains my lot. I am an Ambassador of Heaven; I enjoy all the wonderful privileges of my heavenly kingdom here on earth. The entrance of God’s word is bringing illumination to my Spirit concerning my wealth. I am mindful of my divine provisions which Christ has made available to me in abundance. Excellence, glory, virtue and success are the hallmarks of my life because the grace of God is superabundant in and upon me. I am fruitful and productive and I live a life of peace and unlimited prosperity in Christ Jesus.
My mind is alert to receive ideas from God and take advantage of opportunities He presents to me for wealth generation. In whatever that I do, I doubtless come back rejoicing, bringing supernatural profits. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, yes, I have a goodly heritage.My finances are sanctified unto the Lord and my prosperity is guaranteed! The adversary and devourer are rebuked for my sake, and I function in increased grace for financial abundance.
I am rich and I do not struggle to function in prosperity. There is no trace of poverty in me or my family. I am riding on the high places of the earth and making huge profits in my business and projects. I am enriched in all things and in every way.Grace and favour surprise me with good things and the Spirit of God causes the right people to gravitate towards me. I am like a tree by the streams, bearing fruits unto righteousness, because I live by the Word. I am rooted and established in the Word, displaying the virtues and perfections of the Spirit. 📖......No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him (John 1:18).

The word "declared" in our opening verse originates from the Greek term "exegeomai; signifying not just a mere declaration but the act of rehearsing or unfolding something. In essence, Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. He came to reveal God in a way we could relate with and understand
The life of Jesus was a living testament, a vivid portrayal of the Kingdom's principles and the divine way of living. This profound truth is why the Bible instructs us to follow in His footsteps, for He's given us an example to emulate.
1 Peter 2:21 underscores this beautifully: "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps." Jesus came to show us the Father's love, character and will. He said in John 14:9, "..he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.."; a claim only the One who was God in the flesh could make.
Ephesians 5:1-2 says, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us..." The term "followers" translates fromn the Greek word "mimetes" denoting not merely followers but imitators, those who copy another. We're called to be imitators of God, but how can we imitate God when we haven't seen Him?
Jesus made it possible! He came to reveal God's nature and His love for us. God loves us; we know because we see from the Scriptures how Jesus was moved by love and compassion. Jesus in action was God at work.
Now we can manifest the Father's love, His righteousness, mercy, compassion and grace because that's what Jesus did when He walked the earth. We have the life of Christ in us, and His love is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). The Apostle Paul tells us, "And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma" (Ephesians 5:2 NKJV).

Dear Father, thank you for revealing your nature and your love to us through the Lord Jesus. I follow in His steps and imitate Him in my daily life, loving as He loved, walking as He walked and thinking as He thought. Your love shines through me as a testament to your character and nature in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

I affirm that I live a life of immense, vast and enormous richness. I am not destined to be poor, deprived, broke or miserable, rather God’s will is for me to prosper and be in health, even as my soul prospers. Prosperity and greatness have been imparted to my spirit. As an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ, the silver, the gold, the cattle upon a thousand hills, the world and the fullness thereof belong to me. All things are mine! I see myself in this light for this is the truth about my prosperity. I do not see my job, trade, career, skill or business as my source of income, but as a medium to bless others. I reject poverty, lack, want and everything that is inconsistent with the realities of the God-life. I live a joyful, prosperous life every day. Hallelujah!

📖...this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14).

When you study the life of the Apostle Paul, you’d notice an unmistakable singularity and definitiveness in the pursuit of His divine purpose. His focus was undivided. He wasn’t trying to pursue many conflicting directions at once. His eyes were fixed on the mark, on the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
This was also the mindset of the Lord Jesus. Hebrews 12:2 tells us that for the joy set before Him, He endured the Cross and despised the shame. He had His eyes on the prize. In the midst of agony, rejection, humiliation, and suffering, He remained focused on the glorious outcome. He saw beyond the pain and fixed His gaze on the fulfilment of God’s eternal purpose. And because He stayed focused, He won.
That’s the mentality you must have in your walk with the Lord. Don’t allow the distractions of life, worldly ambitions, pressures, disappointments, or temporary pursuits to shift your focus away from Christ and His calling upon your life. Keep your eyes straight ahead.
Many are busy and active, yet they’re running in the wrong direction. They're like an athlete running swiftly in a sprint race but away from the finish line. Speed alone doesn’t guarantee victory. It’s not enough to run; you must run toward the mark. You must know the purpose, the vision, and the calling that God has set before you.
No matter your profession, business, or responsibilities in life, Christ must remain your focus. He must be the centre of your aspirations, decisions, pursuits, and ambitions. When your heart is fixed on Him, every other aspect of your life finds proper alignment and meaning.
Therefore, stay focused on the Lord and on the eternal purpose He has given you. Press toward the mark with determination, courage, and unwavering faith. There’s a prize to win, and as you keep your eyes on Him and remain steadfast in His Word, you’ll fulfil your calling gloriously and triumphantly. Hallelujah!
