The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Gaza has condemned a number of international institutions and committees operating in the Strip for failing to fulfill their humanitarian and relief responsibilities, saying their inaction has obstructed efforts to recover victims' bodies from beneath the rubble and has deepened the suffering of the population.
The directorate said it had repeatedly attempted to contact the Egyptian committee to implement a previously agreed plan to provide heavy equipment for body recovery operations.
However, those efforts were met with what it described as stalling and delays, forcing the postponement of field operations.

HRF filed a criminal complaint in Poland against Nitro Chem, the largest producer of TNT in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO, over a possible role in supplying materials used in the production of military munitions that Israel used in the war on Gaza.
