ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤㅤ New York is the largest city in the United States, which is part of one of the largest agglomerations in the world. The population of this city is more than 8 million people. New York is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, in the southeastern part of New York. The city was founded in the early 17th century by the Dutch colonialists and until 1664 was called "New Amsterdam". New York includes 5 counties: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and STADA Island. The main attractions are located in Manhattan. Among historic skyscrapers and famous buildings: Steeight Empire Building, Chrysler-Building, Rockefeller Center, Woolworth Building, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Metropolitan Opera, Solomon Museum, Guggenheim, American Museum of Natural History, Legendary Nations, Harlem. Geographically, New York City includes: Manhattan Island, Stanten Island Island, West Long Island Island, part of mainland North America (Bronx) and several smaller islands in New York Harbor. Stanten Island is the most hilly, widest and most densely populated area of the city. In densely populated Manhattan, on the other hand, the Earth is limited and the roads account for the large number of skyscrapers. In the past, the majority of the city's population was migrants from Europe: Irish and Germans, Jews and Italians. Over the past few decades, New York has received large numbers of people from Asia, especially China, India and Pakistan, as well as indigenous people from much of Latin America and the Caribbean. New York is a center for world trade, finance and communications, arts, entertainment and fashion. This city is the financial capital of the United States, it has the headquarters of the largest corporations in the #world.
