🚀 The First Crewed Lunar Mission in 54 Years, Artemis II, Has Launched
At 6:35 p.m. Eastern time, the SLS rocket carrying the Orion spacecraft lifted off from Launch Complex 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Jeremy Hansen, Christina Koch, and Victor Glover—will fly around the Moon and return to Earth over the course of a 10-day mission.
In 2028, as part of the fourth Artemis mission, astronauts are expected to land on the Moon.
⏳ Before Artemis, the last crewed lunar mission was Apollo 17. In 1972, American astronauts landed on the Moon for the sixth time, a feat that remains the most recent lunar landing to this day.
Do we need more missions to the Moon?
❤️ — Yes, it is our base for space exploration
🔥 — No, we should focus on Earth

On January 14, 2005, the Huygens probe successfully entered the atmosphere of Titan and landed on its surface.
This was the first (and for 2022 the only) soft landing in history, made in the Outer Solar System.
The probe landed on a hard surface, although landing in the ocean was also provided for by its design 🌊

Why do we experience summer and winter on Earth? 🌍
This video explains how the tilt of the Earth and its movement around the Sun cause seasons.
When one side of the Earth tilts towards the Sun, it experiences summer ☀️, while the opposite side experiences winter ❄️.
This simple animation helps you understand the science behind seasons in an easy way!

Update: I’m okay now.
I got myself checked at the hospital and even had a CT scan done. Thankfully, everything is normal and there is no serious injury. I’m still feeling some pain, but I’m stable and recovering.

Today I experienced a very serious incident.
I was returning towards the station from City Center Mall, Goregaon West, Mumbai. Around 10:10 PM, while I was walking on the skywalk, 4 boys stopped me and started demanding money forcefully.
When I refused, they surrounded me and began threatening me. At first, they asked for ₹100, then demanded ₹500 and even told me to show my bank balance. When I refused again, they started physically assaulting me.
One of them hit me hard on my neck, and they also punched me repeatedly on my face, due to which my lips got swollen. I kept shouting for help, but people around me ignored me and walked away. The more I shouted, the more aggressive they became.
They also snatched my phone. I told them I would give the money, and somehow managed to get my phone back and tried to run, but they caught me again and continued beating me badly.
Somehow I managed to escape and shouted loudly for help again. A few people from a distance noticed, and then those boys ran away.
After this incident, I called the police, but they told me to go to the local police station. When I went there, I still did not receive proper help.
Right now, I am in pain — my neck, jaw, and lips are badly affected, and I am having difficulty even eating.
This was a very disturbing and frightening experience.

Betelgeuse. Stellar magnitude +1.1 m. 🔭
The star alpha (a) Orion is a red supergiant. Its proper name, Betelgeuse, is of Arabic origin. The exact meaning of the word has been lost, various interpretations include meanings such as "Central" or "home of Orion". Betelgeuse is one of the few stars with a disc visible through a telescope and for which it has been possible to measure its diameter directly. The atmosphere of Betelgeuse, placed at the center of the solar system, would be beyond the orbit of Mars.
The Flame Nebula (NGC 2024). Stellar magnitude + 10.7m and the M78 Nebula. Magnitude +8.3m.
The Flame Nebula is one of the star-forming regions in the constellation Orion. Under good atmospheric conditions on dark winter nights you can still try to see even with binoculars (diameter from 70 mm).
