Odappallam Kirata ShivaParvathy temple is an ancient temple in Wayanad Kerala which got destroyed during the invasion of Tipu Sultan. The broken Shivalinga emerged from the mud during construction activities after two centuries. UgraNarasimha Charitable Trust is restoring the temple completely in granite stones, and the experienced Stapathis in TamilNadu are not working on the final ceiling of Garbhagriha in stones. The expenses will be Rs 6 lakhs for the final phase after which we will conduct Punah Pratishta in early 2027. Kirata Shiva Parvathy is known for protection for devotees from enemies and also for aiding victory over enemies.
