SN9 Launch Highlights (1080p) SpaceX’s Starship SN9 finally flew Tuesday then exploded spectacularly while landing during a test flight at the company’s facility in Boca Chica, Texas. Despite the striking end, SpaceX said it considers the test to be a success because of the data that they were able to collect. The company said the objective of Tuesday’s test was to demonstrate control of the spacecraft during the subsonic reentry phase, which includes the so-called belly-flop maneuver that is used to slow it down. SpaceX admitted there is more work to do on how to successfully land the Starship. Full and 720p versions available in comments Video (SpaceX) @EverythingScience
