Screen Blues
Such a generation,
Spreading information,
Expressing emotions,
Assessing the options.
Such a generation,
Feels of elevation,
Needing a revelation,
Asserting an expression.
What a time to be alive,
It is nice to see this life,
The dabble of thoughts,
The rumble of talks,
The subtle saves you lots.
And the sun sets,
Our phones reflect,
And the darkness resurrects,
Amid, a flood projects,
Quickly it sweeps,
Suddenly from our feet.
We tweet, we gram,
We speak, we rant.
Retweet, regram,
Re-speak, re-rant.
We kick, we snap,
We link, we tag.
Repeat, restart.
We complain about the flood,
And yet drain all of our blood,
Depressed and anxious,
Repressed and hopeless,
Aggressed in subconscious,
We suppressed our conscience.
Is it long to take,
To see it as a mistake?
Since when did we break,
When did our body ache?
For every ache there is a cure,
For every pain there is a clue.
For the disdain a very truth,
Comes a gain, from what we lose.
Is hope your dream?
Just stop and scream.
Toss your phone and break the screen,
Go home and yell all your fears,
Open a book and just start to read,
For sure it'll help, I would guarantee,
Leave that flood, leave that sea,
Clean the mud, creep the flees,
And go to the river, for you will see,
That for an ever, oh you will be free.

A friendly reminder that there is never a time in human history when an actionless and mindless projection of an individual's emotions brought a substantial change to the human race. Although suppressing your emotions is never the answer , you should not act solely by them.
