As part of its ongoing academic and research activities, the Prof. Daoud Research Group convened a proposal meeting at its headquarters in Cairo on Monday, June 29, 2026. The session was dedicated to the scientific presentation and critical appraisal of the research proposal entitled: “Reproductive Health and Psychosocial Challenges Among Sudanese Women with Epilepsy: A Cross-Sectional Study” The proposal was presented by Dr. Asmaa M. Abbas, Dr. Mona Abdelwahid Saeed, Dr. Afra Abd Elhamid, Dr. Rana Ammar, Dr. Bahja Mukhtar Bashir. The meeting provided a comprehensive scientific review of the proposed study, focusing on its background, research rationale, objectives, methodological design, ethical considerations, data collection strategies, and statistical analysis plan. The proposal underwent constructive peer evaluation, with in-depth discussions addressing methodological rigor, feasibility, scientific validity, and potential implications for improving reproductive health care and psychosocial support among women living with epilepsy. The session concluded with a productive academic discussion attended by physicians, specialists, researchers, and postgraduate students, who contributed valuable insights and recommendations aimed at strengthening the scientific quality of the proposed research.
