از همه هم میهنان گرامی که از کشورهای گوناگون رنج سفر را متحمل شدند ودر سالگرد درگذشت لیلای نازنین بر مزار او در پاریس گرد هم آمدند و از کلیه کسانیکه از داخل و خارج ایران بوسیله نامه الکترونیکی و تلفن اظهار همدردی کرده اند از سوی خود و خانواده ام از صمیم قلب سپاسگزارم.

I congratulate Mr. Mohammad Rasoulof and the team of actors and producers of the film “Dane Anjir Maabed” for receiving the Cannes Film Festival Award. Mr. Rasoulof deserves this award because, during all the years of imprisonment and restrictions in Iran, he tried to bring the voices of our compatriots to the world through the lens of cinema, regardless of political categories. I wish this Iranian director more success during his forced exile, and once again congratulate him and the independent Iranian cinema for receiving this award. Hoping for the victory of light over darkness and the return of artists and Iranians in exile to our dear homeland, Iran, as soon as possible.

دریافت جایزه ویژه هیات داوران جشنواره کن را به آقای محمدِ رسول‌اف و گروه بازیگران و سازندگان فیلم «دانه انجیر معابد» شادباش می‌گویم. آقای رسول‌اف شایسته این جایزه‌اند چرا که در تمام سالهای زندان و محدودیت در ایران، تلاش کردند تا مستقل از دسته‌ بندی‌های سیاسی، صدای هم‌ میهنان‌ مان را از دریچه سینما به گوش جهانیان برسانند. برای این کارگردان ایران دوست در دوران تبعید اجباری آرزوی موفقیت بیشتر دارم، و دریافت این جایزه را بار دیگر به ایشان و به سینمای مستقل ایران شادباش می‌گویم. به امید پیروزی نور بر تاریکی و بازگشت هرچه زودتر هنرمندان و ایرانیان در تبعید به میهن عزیزمان، ایران.

قرار است تندیس دستان شهبانو فرح پهلوی توسط رامین اعتمادی بزرگ و اشا صدر هنرمندان ساکن واشینگتن ساخته شود. تیم خبری صدای آمریکا با حضور در جریان این پروژه که در منزل مسکونی شهبانو فرح پهلوی در نزدیکی واشینگتن صورت گرفت به گفت‌وگو با او پرداخت.

Tomaj Salehi, a popular Iranian singer, has been sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic. His crime is advocating, through his lyrics, freedom and human rights for all men and women in Iran. The world needs to stand up for this talented man who has committed no wrongdoing. توماج صالحی خواننده محبوب ایرانی به گناه سرودن وخواندن درستایش آزادی و پشتیبانی از تلاش زنان ایرانی در دستیابی به آزادی محکوم به اعدام است. سازمان ملل متحد و تمام نهادهای حمایت از حقوق بشر در تمام کشورهای جهان باید در کنار هنرمندانی که طنین صدای آن ها در حمایت از آزادی بیان و هنر از سراسر جهان به گوش می رسد بایستند و ازهیچ تلاشی برای آزادی این هنرمند بزرگ ایرانی فروگذار نکنند. #توماج_صالحی
