[Intro] [Verse 1] Midnight on the kitchen floor Staring at the wooden door Waiting for a sound that never comes Tracing lines upon the glass Hoping that the rain will pass Counting all the beats of quiet drums [Pre-Chorus] But the silence is a heavy thing And the cold is settling in I am holding on to what we were While the edges start to blur [Chorus] Oh, I still look for you in every crowd Still whisper your name when the wind is loud A ghost in the corner, a spark in the dark How did we drift so far apart? Now I'm standing in the freezing rain Calling out to ease the pain But the echo is the only sound In this empty town [Verse 2] Dust is gathering on the shelf I hardly recognize myself Living in a house of yesterday Every photograph we took Like pages of an open book Where the ink has started fading to gray [Pre-Chorus] But the silence is a heavy thing And the cold is settling in I am holding on to what we were While the edges start to blur [Chorus] Oh, I still look for you in every crowd Still whisper your name when the wind is loud A ghost in the corner, a spark in the dark How did we drift so far apart? Now I'm standing in the freezing rain Calling out to ease the pain But the echo is the only sound In this empty town [Bridge] They say that time is supposed to heal But it only makes the distance real A hollow space where you used to be Are you still looking for me? [Chorus] Oh, I still look for you in every crowd Still whisper your name when the wind is loud A ghost in the corner, a spark in the dark How did we drift so far apart? Now I'm standing in the freezing rain Calling out to ease the pain But the echo is the only sound In this empty town [Outro] The echo is the only sound In this empty town

Would you restart? ⏳
