Empty Echo

Humanity offered up its life To be a slave of its own creation Its state from commander to commanded By the anvil that breaks the hammer Above, beneath, all around Is the mechanical queen which all depend on In the universal hive A new, enforced symbiosis of the human race The end has just begun Here comes our involution A queen to the hive of parasites A vast body, spread out beneath the surface By hook or crook it will control you Reduced to a voiceless collective Pure subserviency The machine develops – but not on our lines The machine proceeds – but not to our goal We exist only as the blood that courses through all In her we see one another And in her we have our being Omnipotent, eternal, Bless’d be the Mechanism! Protect us from enlightenment Protect us from the fiery cradle of ideas Protect us from the fiery cradle of ideas Protect us from the fiery cradle of ideas Long live the machine! Long live the machine! Long live the machine! May it progress eternally Long live the queen! By hook or crook it will control you Reduced to a voiceless collective Pure subserviency
