The Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, the thing I fear most for you is minor Shirk.” They asked, “What is minor Shirk, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “It is ar-Riyaʾ (showing off).” Then he said that on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will say: “Go to those for whom you used to show off your deeds in the worldly life and see if you find any reward with them.” [Musnad Ahmad 23636 (Hasan)]

There is nothing more to chasing after wealth than the wastage of a person's noble life for that which has no value. Instead he could have earned a high rank (in Paradise) and everlasting bliss, but he lost this due to his craving after provision - which had already been assured to him and allotted to him, and it was not possible for anything to come to him except what was decreed for him - then on top of this he does not benefit from that, but rather abandons it and leaves it for someone else. He departs from that and leaves it behind so that he will be the one held accountable for it, yet someone else benefits from it. When death comes, do not be attached to this world... Do not worry about what will happen to your body after you leave this life. Your Muslim brothers and sisters will fulfil what Allah has legislated. They will: 1. Remove your clothes. 2. Wash your body. 3. Shroud you. 4. Pray the funeral prayer over you. 5. Carry you from your home. 6. Place you in your grave, your first station of the Hereafter. Many people will attend your funeral. Some may leave their work and worldly affairs to bid farewell to you. Yet remember, the greatest benefit you could have received was not merely people standing beside your body after death, but sincere advice, obedience to Allah, and righteous companionship while you were alive. Your possessions will remain behind: Your keys. Your books. Your belongings. Your clothes. Your wealth. Your home. Your possessions. Your family may distribute what you leave behind. If they give charity from their own wealth on your behalf, this may benefit you by Allah’s permission. But what will truly accompany you to your grave are your deeds. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When the son of Ādam dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who supplicates for him.” (Saḥīḥ Muslim) Know that this world will continue after you depart. The markets will remain open. The people will continue their lives. Your position will be filled by someone else. Your wealth will pass to your heirs. But you will stand before Allah alone. You will be questioned about your faith, your deeds, your obligations, and how you used the blessings Allah gave you. The people who knew you will remember you according to what they knew of you. Some will grieve briefly. Some will remember you for longer. Some will make du‘ā’ for you. But eventually, people return to their lives. Your time among them will end. Your true journey will begin. The grave is a reality. The resurrection is a reality. The standing before Allah is a reality. Allah says: “Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full reward on the Day of Resurrection.” (Qur’an 3:185) When you enter the grave, these things will leave you: Your appearance. Your wealth. Your strength. Your children. Your homes. Your possessions. Your status. Everything of this worldly life. What remains is your īmān and your deeds. So ask yourself: What have I prepared for my meeting with Allah? Prepare through: 1. Guarding the obligatory acts, especially the five daily prayers. 2. Performing voluntary acts of worship. 3. Giving charity sincerely for Allah’s sake. 4. Repenting from sins and striving for righteousness. 5. Standing in prayer at night. 6. Holding firmly to the Qur’an and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the righteous predecessors. Perhaps Allah will have mercy upon you and save you. Do not delay repentance, for no soul knows when its appointed time will arrive. Allah says: “And remind, for indeed the reminder benefits the believers.” (Qur’an 51:55) May Allah grant us a good ending, make our graves gardens from the gardens of Paradise, and allow us to meet Him while He is pleased with us.

Having a beautiful mindset is like having a priceless asset. ▪︎ Imagine you visit any part of the world with nothing in your hand, not even your phone. ▪︎ Imagine you're sitting in a dumpster with no connection to the internet. You have no way to escape. You're just sitting there with your thoughts. Now, if you have a beautiful thought process. And if you've done the inner work, you'll have tons of beautiful thoughts to count on. On the contrary, If you visit even one of the most beautiful places in the world. But you have a nagging and blaming mindset - you won't be able to enjoy the beauty of that place. Why? Because your thoughts are not beautiful enough to help you experience that beauty. Your mindset matters. Your thoughts matter. Your connection with yourself matters. If you haven't skipped this necessary work on and within yourself - you can land in beautiful places, without actually visiting them. 🌷 🔰 Your mindset can be your biggest asset or the biggest liability. ✍️ Maryam Ibrahim

The Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Whoever among you witnesses an evil, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable to do so, then let him speak out against it. A Time will come when a Man’s Own Thigh Informs Him of What His Family Did After He Left Them Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, the Hour shall not come until wild beasts speak to mankind, and a man's whip-tip and sandal-strap speak to him, and his own thigh informs him of what his family did after he left them." Shaykh Ḥammūd ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Tuwayjirī said: These two signs, that a man's whip-tip should speak to him, and that his thigh should inform him of what his family did in his absence, are therefore signs which have not yet come to pass, and Allah knows best. Yet they are certain to occur and will indeed take place, given that the one informing us of them is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, speaking on behalf of his Lord, Mighty and Sublime is He. Some contemporary researchers have suggested that what is intended by the speaking of the whip-tip, the sandal-strap, and the thigh may refer to the modern means of communication invented in our own era, such as mobile telephones and surveillance devices capable of transmitting even the faintest and most subtle of sounds. It has also been said that this should be understood according to its apparent, literal meaning: that these are genuine signs to be taken at face value, in which the whip, the sandal-strap, and the thigh will speak actual, literal speech. And Allah knows best. - Al-Tuwayjirī, Ḥammūd ibn ʿAbd Allāh (d. 1413 AH/1992 CE), Itḥāf al-Jamāʿah bimā Jāʾa fī al-Fitan wa al-Malāḥim wa Ashrāṭ al-Sāʿah (1/411).

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ❇️ DISORDERS OF THE HEART ONLY HEAL BY RESPONDING TO ALLAH ❇️ 💠Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: “In the heart are disorders that cannot be remedied except by responding to Allah: ▪️ In it is a desolate feeling that cannot be removed except by intimacy with Him solitude. ▪️In it is sadness which will not leave except by happiness with knowing Him and truthfulness in his dealings. ▪️ In it is anxiety that is not made tranquil except by gathering for His sake and fleeing to Him from His punishment. ▪️ In it is a fire of regret which cannot be extinguished except by satisfaction with His commands, prohibitions, and decrees, and embracing patience with that until the time he meets Him. ▪️In it is a strong desire that will not cease until He is the only one who is sought. ▪️ In it is a void that cannot be filled except by His love, turning to Him, always remembering Him, and being sincere to Him. Whoever is mindful of Allah when he is young and strong, Allah will take care of him when he is old and has become weak, and will bless him with good hearing, eyesight, strength and reasoning. One of the scholars (rahimahullah) who lived beyond the age of a hundred years and enjoyed good strength and reasoning, jumped up in a lively manner one day and was asked about that. He (rahimahullah) said: “I kept these physical faculties from sin when I was young and Allah has preserved them for me now that I am old.” [Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (rahimahullah), Jami’ Uloom wal Hikam — Compendium of Knowledge and Wisdom, 1/186]

Shaykh Muqbil Bin Hadi Al-Wada’aee رحمه الله said: “If you are afflicted with a difficulty and hardship then perhaps that difficulty is good for you. Whether that difficulty is in your wealth or on your body or in anything which pains and worries you. Perhaps that will be a means to raise your rank in the worldly life and the Hereafter. Perhaps it will be a purification from Allaah Azza Wa Jal.” [Kitab Al-Masara'ah, (Page: 533)]

{And Allaah knows while you know not} The delays in your life are there for a purpose and behind them is Divine Wisdom which only Allaah knows. So surrender your affairs to Allaah and trust Him, and don’t be disheartened nor lose hope. Behind every patience there is a beautiful affair, and know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, and affliction is followed by relief, and hardship is followed by ease.

In this day and age, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to see what’s wrong and what’s right. The lines are getting blurred. What’s right is being made to look wrong and the reverse is true. Be mindful. Don’t fall into this trap. Hold on to what the Almighty has prescribed.

Some words of wisdom: "The greatest form of social hypocrisy: أن تعطي للفقراء بقايا ملابسك وطعامك، بينما تشتري للأغنياء هدايا فاخرة ليسوا بحاجة لها giving the poor your unwanted clothes and left over food, while buying lavish gifts for the rich that they don't need"

Strong Ummah (Nation) Ibn Abbas said: "This nation will continue to be in good condition as long as there are scholars among them who teach the ignorant." This narration indicates that the nation has two obligations: the first is the duty of education by the scholars, and the second is the duty of learning by the general populace. This also underscores the necessity of caring for knowledge and its people, supporting and nurturing them. The reverence for knowledge and making it dear to the people is a religious requirement to ensure that this nation remains strong. Those who belittle the importance of religious knowledge and the value of scholars weaken our nation, whether they are aware of it or not.

👉 The shortest distance between a problem and its solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. The one who kneels to Allaah can stand up to anything… وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ * الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَاقُو رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ {And seek (Allaah’s) help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is hard (to be patient and punctual in offering Salaah) except for those who fear (Allaah). (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return.} 📚 [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 45-46] يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ “O you who Believe!
