1. Time management🕘
You will have ESSAY
1. Introduction🧩
You should pay great attention to this part of essay because examiners will have an imagination from the start( your intro) about your whole essay, so able to make examiner interested or obsessed in your whole essay is on the hand of your INTRODUCTION.
Learn synonyms for the word like—people,develop,many,think.......
Vary your grammar for paraphrasing the more your grammar will vary in your essay, the more it will give you a higher score.
Show your exact position if essay ask you like In my opinion,......
2. Body paragraphs 🫧
you might write paragraphs from 2 to 4 (depends how much ideas do you have related to given topic)
Structure will be like:
Topic sentence
2. Explanation
3. Example
4. Result/Link
Formula:
Point → Explain → Example → Result
One major advantage is that online education is more flexible. Students can study at a time and place that suits them. For example, working students can attend recorded lectures after work. Therefore, online education can make learning more accessible. —> EXAMPLE
Also, read samples for essay from authentic materials and analyze their grammar structures, vocab that it used and you didn't know and also get ideas ( will be useful one day) !
3. Conclusion
Well, in conclusion part, as it says you should conclude all the views that you gave before WITHOUT ANY NEW IDEA OR OPINION.🤓
Conclusion part demand only brief summary for your essay and that's it. You should also paraphrase with various vocabulary and grammatical structure. Try to use various tenses (if you know, otherwise it might affect your score) !
I would recommend to keep your ideas in balanced way ⚖️ because it gives you a chance to share more perspectives and adapt to both your and your examiner's view.
60 minutes in total for 2 essays (task1/task2) in IELTS.
I would recommend to start with idea generation(at least on your mind) because in both essay tasks you must be able to ''smoothly'' explain your ideas. Without idea map🗺, it might be a little bit hard and takes too much time.
Start with Task 1 WHY❔❔❔🧐
✅First, you shouldn't find any ideas for this task, the only thing that is required from you is finding Necessary vocab and use it where is suitable.
✅Second, Task 2 is much more important rather than task1 BUT it doesn't mean you shouldn't care about task 1 Because task 2 gives you 2 times more score than task 1 can give.
✅Third, you can't switch your brain automatically to write an essay while exam, so starting with writing task1 first might give you an opportunity of remember some grammar and ''feel the atmosphere''
2. Word count📒
That's one of the most important key in exam because there is a strict rule specifically about word count in both essays:
Task 2 at least—250 word
Task1 at least —150 word
Well, if you wanna ask, should I write more than 250 or 150 ?? I would say NO.
Because, examiners will pay attention to the meaning of your essay rather than number of word.
📌MOST IMPORTANTLY — you should be able to give your exact opinions and give certain answers and explain everything that the essay's question asked you to write!!!
3. How can I generate ideas or broaden my horizon?
Actually, that's the one of the most painful point of many students.
Watch international you tube channels: BBC world news,Ted Ed, Ted talks
There is a book which you can some ideas for any topic that you might face in IELTS writing/speaking and I will share it below.👇
Use statistic data ( you might create) But it must be believable💯Not like, in 2024, 10000 of the population of Earth moved to Jupiter to live (JK😅). ✨If you follow my advice, I believe that you can get your wished score in IELTS writing task 2.
