📉 Bitcoin's one-year realized volatility ended Q2 near 42%, close to multiyear lows. Realized volatility measures how widely price returns actually moved over a past window. This version uses a rolling year and annualizes the result. The notable part is that the measure stayed compressed despite Bitcoin's downside price action during the quarter. That is a reminder that direction and volatility are different signals: price can trend lower without producing the large day-to-day swings associated with a high-volatility regime. Low realized volatility does not predict the direction of the next move. 🍿👀 The BitMart situation just got even more interesting The exchange's former CEO says he was never informed in advance about BitMart's suspension and only learned about it after the official announcement was published. He also revealed that on July 24, he was notified of the immediate termination of his role as CEO. Meanwhile, the founder of MSX has announced plans to acquire BitMart and says he intends to eliminate spot and futures trading fees if the deal goes through. 📉 BTC is testing the trendline that has carried the July rebound. BTC/USDT is near $64,162 after failing to clear $66,700. Price is now back at the ascending support drawn from the $58,400 July low. • Hold the trendline near $63,800: $65,200 comes back into view, followed by $66,000. • Reclaim $66,700: the breakout case strengthens again. • Lose $63,800: the wedge breaks, exposing $62,300 and then $60,000. 💵 Two stablecoins can target $1 and still carry different risks. USDT relies on a centralized issuer, reserves and a redemption path. USDD belongs to the TRON ecosystem and uses crypto collateral plus protocol mechanisms to support its peg. What the holder is actually trusting: • USDT: reserve quality, issuer operations and market liquidity • USDD: collateral quality, protocol design and liquidation mechanics The ticker does not make a stablecoin safe. Its backing, redemption path and liquidity decide how resilient the $1 promise is.

🐋 HYPE’s biggest risk is becoming liquid supply. A wallet attributed to Paradigm has unstaked 2.92M HYPE, worth roughly $171M at the time of the move. It follows Multicoin Capital unstaking 1.96M HYPE — about $120M — while wallets linked to a16z have also moved HYPE toward exchanges in recent weeks. But cheap and fully washed out are not the same thing. ✅ What the data shows: • only 2 of 5 bottom signals have reached historical extremes • selling pressure is easing • full capitulation has not appeared Valuation has improved, but the market has not delivered a classic bottom signal yet.
