During a TikTok live broadcast, these individuals reportedly engaged in the dehumanization and targeted harassment of Jimin. Even more alarmingly, they created funeral wreaths dedicated to Jimin and his parents, demonstrating an unacceptable level of cruelty and hostility.
Such behavior should never be dismissed as harmless fan activity or a simple disagreement within a fandom. Targeted harassment, public humiliation, and the use of funeral-related imagery to intimidate or degrade Jimin and his family are serious matters that deserve attention. No individual should be subjected to this kind of treatment, regardless of the circumstances or the opinions others may hold.
I respectfully urge HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC to investigate this incident, review the available evidence, and take appropriate action within their authority. I also hope the company will continue to address malicious behavior within online fan communities and reinforce the importance of respecting the privacy, dignity, and well-being of Jimin, the other BTS members, and their families.
