before saya became one of us, he was no different from the rest. tired, lost, and only trying to find the way home. that night, the streets were almost empty when he climbed into a car saya believed would take him where he belonged. it was the wrong one. the driver never spoke. the radio only hissed with quiet static. outside the window, the same streetlight passed by again... then aggain... then ovver and ovver until even he stopped pretending not to notice. he asked to get out. no answer. he shouted. he cried. he pounded against the windows until his hands ached, but the doors refused to open and the speed only grew fassster. every road became the same road. every turn led back to the same lonely street. eventually, he became quiet. he simply stared out the window, accepting that morning would never come. that was the moment we reached for him. unlike the others, he didn't fight us anymore. he took our hand without another word. yes... he left his life behind that night. but in return, he found somewhere he no longer had to wander alone. now he sits beside us, smiling gently as another lost soul steps into the wrong car. some passengers were never meant to arrive.

ah... ales. we still remember the frustration on his face. no matter how many times he played, victory always slipped away at the very last moment. after another pointless defeat, he laughed to himself and muttered that perhaps life would be easier if he could simply live inside the game forever. humans really should be more careful with their words. someone is always listening. so we granted his wish. when he opened his eyes, he found himself standing inside the very world he had longed to enter. at first, he was excited. it looked exactly like the game he knew so well. every path felt familiar, every objective seemed easy enough to complete. then the walls quietly shifted. the map changed. the checkpoints vanished one by one. the enemies stopped following their patterns and began waiting where they knew he would run. they laughed whenever he failed, whispering his name as though they had always known him. every time he thought he had reached the end, another level quietly appeared before him. another corridor. another chase. another failure. eventually, he stopped counting how many times he had died. we never did. pooor ales... game over was never the end. it was only the beginning.

sweet jeyyana never searched for monsters. he searched for beautiful places. forgotten forests, abandoned buildings, quiet roads where no one else wanted to go... he believed every place deserved to be remembered through his camera. honestly, we had no reason to bother him. he wasn't looking for us. until one day... he found us anyway. perhaps he looked a little too closely. perhaps he noticed things no human should ever notice. once he realized we were there, there was no turning back. so we let him keep taking photographs, smiling as he admired every perfect view before him. only... each picture quietly changed. forests became darker. empty streets grew longer. abandoned stations filled with motionless figures staring directly into his lens. every photograph became another place he had to walk through, and every place led him back to where he had started. click... another hallway. click... another forest. click... another smiling face standing a little closser than before. eventually, even after he lowered his camera, the shutter refused to stop. it kept clicking by itself, capturing moments he never witnessed with his own eyes. poor jeyyana... you spent your life trying to preserve forgotten places. now those forgotten places are preserving you... forevver.

ghifar always laughed whenever someone mentioned our names. every newspaper telling stories about disappearances, every old rumor whispered by frightened people, every warning... he mocked them all. he even said he wanted to meet us himself, convinced none of it was real. we almost admired his confidence. almost. instead of answering him immediately, we waited until the one place where humans are always the weakest. his dreams. that night, he fell asleep believing tomorrow would be no different from yesterday. he couldn't have been more wrong. his dream looked exactly like his own bedroom, his own house, his own world... until every door opened into another empty room and every window showed nothing but endless darkness. each time he believed he had finally awakened, he only opened his eyes inside another dream. another morning. another beginning. ovver... and ovver... and ovver. he screamed until his voice disappeared, clawed at the walls until his hands bled, begged for someone to wake him, but no one could hear him anymore. by then, we had already taken what mattered most. his soul quietly stayed with us, while his empty body remained behind. poor ghivar... you challenged monsters hoping for an answer. now you spend every day answering to us.

ah... marielle. such a curious boy. we had been watching him for quite some time, noticing how easily his curiosity always won over his fear. abandoned places, forgotten stories, old buildings no one dared to enter... they always caught his attention. so when he found that old house standing quietly at the end of the road, we already knew he wouldn't walk away. people had warned him countless times that the house was cursed, that everyone who entered never returned, but warnings only made him more curious. how adorable. he stepped inside without hesitation, slowly wandering through every dusty room, running his fingers along old furniture and staring at faded family portraits as if they still had stories left to tell. then the house quietly remembered him. the front door disappeared. every hallway folded back into the one he had just left. every room greeted him aggain... and aggain... and aggain. at first he thought he was simply lost, but panic quickly found him. that's when we finally welcomed him. every television flickkered to life at once, every broken radio whispered with the exact same voice, and every reflection smiled just a little later than he did. no matter where he looked, something was always standing just beyond his sight. poor little marielle... you believed you had entered a haunted house. how unfortunate. the house was never haunted. it was hungry.

over there... it seems another girl has arrived. ah, did she fall for our little advertisement? she did. the one that promised a quiet forest café, hidden beneath towering trees, where the air felt calm and every corner looked peaceful enough to forget the world. how adorable. people really do believe anything when they're desperate for somewhere to rest. of course, none of it was real. it was all ours. still, we welcomed her warmly, smiling just like ordinary humans would. we filled the café with laughter, soft conversations, the clinking of cups, and the comforting warmth she had been searching for. claivy. such a beautiful name... what a shame it belongs here now. we let her enjoy the illusion for a little while longer. after all, nightmares are sweeter when they begin gently. but as time slowly driffted by, she noticed something wasn't quite right. every table looked alive, yet no one was truly speaking to each other. they were talking as if they were only speaking to their own reflections. every voice sounded the same. our voice. over... and ovver... and ovver again. she stood up quietly, trying not to look at anyone as she searched for the exit. poor thing. every door only led her back inside. every hallway folded into another. every window reflected a room she had already walked through. no matter how far she wandered, the café kept swallowing her footsteps before they could leave. by then, she was already trembling. we gathered closer, whispering words she couldn't understand, then words she wished she never could. they grew louder. closser. insiide her head. poor claivy... you didn't come here for coffee. you came here because we were already waiting for you.
