Dear Truist Support Team,
I am writing to urgently flag a verified case of brand impersonation on Telegram that poses a direct and serious threat to your customers.
A fraudulent account (@TruistBanksupport43) is actively impersonating your official support channel. It uses your exact branding, name, and a false "verified" status to appear legitimate. Based on the account's profile, it is clearly designed to deceive users into sharing sensitive information, which is a classic setup for financial phishing scams.
The Immediate Risk:
This account is not just a dormant profile; it appears in user contacts and is structured to initiate fraudulent conversations. Customers who are unaware of your official communication channels could easily be tricked into disclosing personal data or login credentials.
My Request:
Due to the severity of this ongoing threat, I kindly request that your security team take two immediate actions:
1. Direct Contact: Liaise with Telegram's official support to report this account as a fraudulent entity.
