theme: WEIGHT
something heavy. not heavy like a rock. heavy like a secret you carry, a promise you made, or a job nobody sees.
design a poster that makes people feel the weight without you explaining it.
this week's lesson: BALANCE AND COMPOSITION
things to improve from week 01:
• add a title and some text. a poster with no words is hard to rank.
• keep the text big enough to read or not clustered and confusing to read.
• use one or two fonts, not many.

1. one poster per person
2. any tool you like
3. original work only
4. put your name or handle on the poster

theme was THE FIRST LIGHT. four posters came in, and we went through every one.
the winner is the spark poster. one bright star, strong black and white, and heavy grain. your eye lands on the star first, and that is what contrast is supposed to do.
how we ranked the posters:
• idea: is the concept clear and original?
• theme: does it say "the first light" without explaining it?
• effort: does it look finished and carefully made?
• contrast and hierarchy: does your eye know where to look first?
• typography: is the text readable, matched, and in a clear order?
