Call me Geniya/Gen I guess? (They/She/He with a preference for They) You might not like everything I say & I don't care. I draw stuff, for fandoms & OCs. Whatever.... I put TWs when they're needed. Unknown:https://t.me/harfmanrobot?start=1392757513

In another words people should have "bodily autonomy". It's their right.

Since I'm in Asoiaf, Tolkien & Witcher fandoms including their series (tho I like their books more), and I might talk about them more (unpopular & personal opinion here):
There are reasons why I enjoy Lotr Rings Of Power more than Hotd. Rop is inaccurate in some places but actually more accurate than people think, and it's set in a time & place that not every detail is talked about in the books. While not a strong work next to Tolkien other works & adaptations, it's okey on his own. The story works as way to introduce new people to Tolkien's world. The narrative mostly works. (Tho I understand why people dislike inaccuracies, a Similar thing happend to Witcher series.)
Hotd has 2 things: 1) intentionally inaccurate in some places (in favor of team black? Or at least it seems that's what they're doing) 2) the narrative messes up a lot and doesn't work some times (example: Martin wrote a book about a family tearing itself apart from inside over power, it wasn't about taking sides. Hotd narrative tho does take sides and it's not subtle either)
People have different priorities and you can like one series over the other. Different tastes exist after all. But personally I have more gripes with Hotd narrative than all of Rop inaccuracies combined.
(I usually separate adaptations from scourse material to some extent, so I can enjoy an inaccurate adaptation if the narrative works or the writing decisions work in the series. That's why i enjoyed Rop more than Hotd (I don't mean that Rop writing decisions are all great, it has it's problems too). Since I already have the books I don't need the series to be accurate in every way, I care more about other writing decisions. (That's why I could enjoy The Witcher series too, tho way less than Rop). I'm not saying either of this series are perfect or awful, all them have strong & weak points and I enjoyed all of them enough. I hope anyone who likes them has a good time watching them. My opinions are not about which series people are allowed to like or enjoy at all. I also know that what I said here is probably unpopular opinion.)

A small rant about Alicent & I criticize Hotd narrative(+ Viserys criticism)
Alright? Ok
Alicent (S1) is a victim of Viserys (so are her children) and She hurts her children because of her trauma and while her trauma explains it, it doesn't excuse it. But it's very ironic to me that the narrative puts more blame on a imperfect victim than the man who caused the whole situation. It's as if not being a "good mom" is worse than not being a "good dad" (when both are bad). Because the narrative treats Viserys as a character/person but not Alicent, she can only be "mom". Because the narrative treats Viserys with grace but wants to "put Alicent in her place" (The writers said something similar if I remember correctly)
* Also imo S1 Alicent is a very different character from S2. So I'm mostly talking about S1 Alicent.

One day I'll talk about Hotd but not now (probably sooner than you think tho)
Just saying that: 1) I like Alicent. Mostly S1. 2) I'm not team black/green. They both suck and don't deserve the throne🤷♀ (and I don't like how the series glazes team black). 3) I blame Viserys more than Alicent for how their children turned out.
