Receptionists are the jews of entrances

My first day on this job I walk in to reception. Receptionist says first step is to take my picture. It was March, I'd just walked in from a cold windy day. Hair askew, stuffed red nose, holding back a sneeze. "How's that?" "Oh, it doesn't matter really" she said. It gets printed on my badge. It gets put next to my name in the phone list. It gets put up 5x7 on the new hire section of the main bulletin board. I walk through the building and see the "Retirement Hall of Fame" board. It's got their original first day photos. Fer fuks sake
