“Do you ever get tired of talking about that movie?”
She looks at me like I’ve just said something unforgivable.
“No.”
I laugh. “I know.”
“But you still listen.”
“Of course I do.”
“Even when I’ve already told you the same scene means something completely different for the fifth time?”
“Especially then.”
She goes quiet for a moment.
“I think I like the way you love things,” I say. “You don’t just watch a movie and move on. You build a whole little world around it and somehow invite everyone inside.”
She smiles.
“And I’d probably stay there forever if you asked me to.”
