Isaiah 35:1-6 TPT
[1] The wilderness and dry land will be joyously glad! The desert will blossom like a rose and rejoice! [2] Every dry and barren place will burst forth with abundant blossoms, dancing and spinning with delight! Lebanon’s lush splendor covers it, the magnificent beauty of Carmel and Sharon. My people will see the awesome glory of Yahweh, the beautiful grandeur of our God. [3] Strengthen those who are discouraged. Energize those who feel defeated. [4] Say to the anxious and fearful, “Be strong and never afraid. Look, here comes your God! He is breaking through to give you victory! He comes to avenge your enemies. With divine retribution he comes to save you!” [5] Then blind eyes will open and deaf ears will hear. [6] Then the lame will leap like playful deer and the tongue-tied will sing songs of triumph. Gushing water will spring up in the wilderness and streams will flow through the desert.
Genesis 2:8-15 TPT
[8] Then Yahweh-God planted a lush garden paradise in the East, in the Land of Delight, and there he placed the man he had formed. [9] Yahweh-God made all kinds of beautiful trees to grow there—fruitful trees to satisfy the taste. In the middle of the garden, he planted the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. [10] Flowing from the Land of Delight was a river to water the garden, and from there, it divided into four branches. [11] The first river, Overflowing Increase, encircles the gold-laden land of Havilah. [12] The gold of that land is pure, with many pearls and onyx found there. [13] The second river, Gushing, flows through the entire land of Cush. [14] The third river, Swift Flowing, flows east of Assyria. And the fourth is the river Fruitfulness. [15] Yahweh-God took the man and placed him in the garden of Eden to work and watch over it.
