IT Club — Our Journey

last year, IT Club was more than a club. It became a community of students who wanted to build, learn, and grow together. We started the year by building a stronger structure around four departments: Cybersecurity, Development, DSA, and AI & Robotics. From technical sessions and hands-on learning to projects, competitions, and collaboration, we created more opportunities for students to explore technology beyond the classroom. Along the way, our community grew to 137 registered members, bringing together students with different interests, experiences, and ideas. But perhaps our biggest achievement wasn't a number or a project. It was seeing members go from curious learners to people who started building things of their own. There were challenges, of course. But every challenge taught us something about leadership, teamwork, and what it takes to build a community that lasts. To every member, teacher, advisor, department lead, and supporter who was part of this journey: thank you. As one chapter comes to an end, another begins. We are proud to announce the next IT Club Executive Team: President — Yohannes Samuel Vice President — Adoniyas Solomon Secretary — Bitanya Gebretsadik We wish them the very best as they take IT Club into its next chapter. We started with an idea. We built a community. Now, it's their turn to build what comes next.

Message from the outgoing president

It has been a true pleasure to serve alongside the team and to witness what we have built together this year. This role has been demanding, but every late night, every debugging session, and every moment of uncertainty taught me something valuable. I am proud of the systems we delivered and the reputation we built, but I firmly believe this is only the beginning. For this year, I expect a lot. I expect more projects completed, more victories in competitions, stronger partnerships, and, most importantly, a leadership team that operates with absolute discipline and shared purpose.The foundation is laid and the expectation is now to build something even greater. Do not simply maintain; push further. Set targets that feel uncomfortable. Demand excellence from one another. This club has the talent and the potential to be a benchmark, not just within the school, but beyond. Thank you for accepting this responsibility.
