“I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked. [...] I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet.”
— The Bell Jar, Sylvia Plath
I'm done with the fig trees. Choice is an illusion. I will pick all of the figs and blend them into a smoothie I am insatiable. That's what I've always done to the fig trees since my childhood.

Arcane | Season 2
Jinx: I'm done running in circles. Silco: We build our own prisons. Bars forged of oaths, codes, commitments. Walls of self-doubt and accepted limitation. We inhabit these cells, these identities, and call them "us." I thought I could break free by eliminating those I deemed my jailors. But... Jinx I think the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away.

Silco | The most well written antagonist I’ve ever seen.
Ever wonder what it’s like to drown? Story of opposites. There’s peace in water. Like it’s holding you, whispering in low tones to let it in. And every problem in the world will fade away. But then, there’s this thing.. in your head, and it’s raging. Lighting every nerve with madness. To fight. To survive. And all the while this question lingers before you: ‘Have you had enough?’ It’s funny. You could pass a lifetime without ever facing a choice like that. But it changes you forever.
We'll show them. We'll show them all.
Betrayal, that pain that feels like it’ll eat you from the inside out, can either break you or forge you into something greater.
Power, real power, doesn’t come to those who were born strongest, or fastest, or smartest. No. It comes to those who will do anything to achieve it.
There’s a monster inside all of us.
The only way to defeat a superior enemy is to stop at nothing. To become what they fear.
Don’t cry. You’re perfect.

Anatomical sciences practical exams.
The heart is indeed the most beautiful organ in the human body. I've always loved to hold one of Cadaver's hearts in my hand, admiring its beautifully shaped surface and texture. If I were allowed to take pictures in the dissection lab, my collection here would be filled with images of cadavers' hearts, not the moulage. Although I dislike the metaphorical concept of the heart as the source of emotions, which I blame for all my miseries, I take pleasure in admiring it as a remarkable vital organ. Oh, it's so beautifully shaped, so small, so art deco..🫀
