Bandwidth is the maximum amount of data that can be transferred through a connection within a period of time. Let me explain...

It is as simple as that, you don't need to disturb or waste your time trying to make it complicated that is why i am bringing it down to practical level

Now the question is this what if the restaurant get expanded and now it is able to handle 1000 customers per hour? This means the Throughput has been increased and now it 1000 customers per hour

Take it this way Let say that restaurant you know has the ability to handle 100 customers per hour. That restaurant Throughput is 100 customers per hour because that is what it can handle

Throughput is more like you asking how much can you handle

2. Throughput Throughput is how much work a system can successfully process within a period of time. Don't be confused, I am going to break it down but it's looking more like latency 😄

So the amount of time it takes between a successful sent request and successful received response is latency

Additionally in software, we usually measure latency in milliseconds (ms) or seconds

So the amount of time it takes is the actual latency

Assuming you order food at 8:00 PM. You receive it at 8:05 PM. Your latency is: 5 minutes. It is as simple as that

Understanding Modern Software Systems

Imagine you own a very popular restaurant called JusticeTech Restaurant. At first, only 10 people come to eat. One waiter and one kitchen are enough. Then suddenly, 100,000 people want to eat at the same time.

Now you have problems: How quickly can you serve each person? How many customers can you serve? How much food can move through the kitchen? Should you open more kitchens? How do you distribute customers among waiters? How do you prevent the kitchen from being overwhelmed?

These software concepts are basically the engineering answers to those problems.

There are only few DEVS I know in this space anyways you will likely not be one of them so keep working on yourself instead of claiming what you don't

You can put on your bio that you are a Javascript developer or python developer etc all because you have a working project built with any of those language but that never makes you a developer because I can as well pick up that same project clone it and rename and claim it. Does that makes me a developer? Hell no
