Sam Winchester was the kind of character who always tried to find a light in the darkest moments. Someone who always hoped that there was a way out of the difficult circumstances of life. Someone who believed that even if we don’t have any luck today, maybe we’ll find it tomorrow. Someone who doesn’t define home as just a place, but feels home within people. Someone who, despite all the dark and ugly feelings he carried inside, never stopped moving forward. Someone who always believed that he was never enough, that no matter what he did in the end, he was still a monster. And maybe that’s why, sometimes, I see a part of myself in this character.

An angel who learned what emotions truly meant by saving a man from the depths of Hell. A hunter who, because of that strange and cold angel, learned that he wasn’t always meant to be strong and hold everything together. A boy who learned how to trust others—especially someone in a beige trench coat. Without realizing it, the two of them began completing each other from the very moment Castiel first touched Dean. And somewhere along the way, they stopped having meaning on their own. It was Dean and Castiel together that gave them meaning and purpose. A distrustful hunter and a cold angel, side by side, who made each other see parts of themselves they never even knew existed.
