Don’t be mediocre.
Whatever you do, do it to the fullest. Don’t show up halfway and don’t settle for “good enough” just because it feels safe. Mediocrity is quiet, comfortable, and easy, it lets you blend in and avoid risk, but it never builds anything worth remembering.
If you’re going to try, commit even when it’s uncomfortable. If you’re going to create, care deeply even when no one is watching. And if you’re going to fail, fail knowing you gave everything you had and didn’t hold back out of fear. Go all in or stop doing it at all, because real growth only happens when you choose effort over comfort and give your whole self to what you believe in.

I almost quit building this app
For those who don’t know:
about three months ago, I had an idea.
I was struggling with endlessly scrolling YouTube Shorts for hours, so I decided to build a solution.
I started working on a mobile app to fix this problem with features like:
- Daily limits
- Per-session limits
- Cooldown periods
After locking in and building for almost a month, I realized how hard it really was.
The YouTube Shorts ID detection was a big challenge, so I paused the mobile app and instead finished a Chrome extension, which I successfully launched, and currently has 1,400 Installs
After the launch, I got a DM from a guy named Benjamin who offered to help with YouTube Shorts detection. I obviously said yes — big W to this guy 🙌
And it worked.
And for the past week (like 6–7 days now 😁), I’ve been building the mobile app again.
Right now, the app is working really well.
There are still a few things left to finish, but I’m hoping to publish it soon, if God says 🙏
