Today is my birthday, and I really want to say thank you to all of you, my dear friends! My dear @Sapcryer has come to visit me in the city, and we’re having a wonderful time together today. Very soon we’ll go celebrate with my aunt and brother. Basically, I’ll be spending the day with my family, but you’re my online family, too. So I want to say that I love you all very much. That's how it sometimes is — drawing, especially the beginning of the journey in this art, may lead to many headaches: how does the leg connect to the body, how to properly depict a form, what's the best way to draw a line and so on. Again, when I first showed a sketch of this YCH to Ray, guess what, — he immediately wanted to take the lazy YCH. 🐍-Tuomas Snake\Naga-🐍 Commission for Tuomas Suddenly, a snake! 0: And not just any snake, but a naga, too! I wanted to dive into drawing snakes for a long time, and I guess my wishes were heard, haha! Every time references present a separate challenge, for I try and give 100% and even 200%, because this ref will be used by other artists! And it is a pleasure every time knowing that specifically you were approached with an idea of creating a ref! A special thank you to the client for patience. Ref was commissioned on a bad timing because I was 90% into learning: doing assignments and trying to manage the deadlines; hence I could only dedicate a couple of minutes a week for the snake at best. 🎇-Spark in the night-🎇 Commission for Manovar as a gift for Sparog Around a month ago when I was grasping forms I started to try other structure, thinking: "It would be interesting to draw an Arkveld using my newly acquired knowledge". And it seems I've been heard! The idea was a taaad bit different, but then a detail in the form of chains emerged.
