CHRIST—THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE
...The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (Matthew 21:42).
We learnt, in our previous study, one of the clearest truths in Scripture: The Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Church. This is not an idea or a mere concept. In Matthew 21:42, He identified Himself as the stone spoken of in prophecy, the One rejected by the builders yet chosen by God to become the head of the corner.
The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, also stated this plainly in 1 Corinthians 3:11, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” That settles it. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only true foundation. No other foundation can be laid.
This aligns perfectly with the prophecy of Isaiah: “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation…” (Isaiah 28:16). God was speaking here about a Person—Christ Jesus, who also quoted the same prophetic words in Psalm 118:22, when He said, “…Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?” (Matthew 21:42).
The rejection of Christ didn’t cancel God’s plan. It fulfilled it. The One they refused became the cornerstone of God’s eternal structure. In Acts chapter 4, the apostles proclaimed this truth boldly and made it unmistakable: “This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner” (Acts 4:11).
This is why the “rock” Jesus spoke of in Matthew 16 is not a revelation, and it’s not Peter. The Scriptures consistently identify Christ as the Rock, the Stone, the Foundation, and the Chief cornerstone. Paul further confirms this in Ephesians 2:20 when he said by the Spirit that we “...are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.”
The stability of the Church is Christ, and those who believe in Him are founded on the Rock, immovable and victorious forever! This is the glory of the Gospel. Hallelujah!
PRAYER / CONFESSION
I’m founded on Christ, the Sure Foundation and Chief Cornerstone of the Church. My faith is anchored on Him alone and my life is built on His unshakable truths. I walk in stability, confidence and victory because I am founded on the Rock, Christ Jesus. Amen!

BE YIELDED TO CORRECTIONS
(Corrections From The Spirit Are Treasures)
TO THE BIBLE - 1 Samuel 15:22-23 NKJV
“So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.””
LET’S TALK
There’s something beautiful about the way a river flows when its banks are firm and well-defined. The boundaries don’t constrain the water; they guide it—giving it direction, focus, and power. Without banks, the same river becomes a flood, losing its force and causing destruction. The Word of God gives structure to our lives, channeling our gifts, desires, and potentials into a divine flow that produces glory.
This is why obedience to God’s Word is not merely a virtue—it is the very architecture of a thriving life in Christ. The words of Samuel to King Saul in our opening verses reveal a powerful insight into the dangers of stepping outside God’s divine order. Saul received clear instructions from the Lord, yet he chose an alternative path that seemed right in his own eyes. Samuel confronted him with a timeless truth: “…to obey is better than sacrifice…” (1 Samuel 15:22 NKJV).
God is far more interested in your living out His Word than in any outward display of religiosity. Obedience is the proof of love; it is the proof that the Word has taken root in your spirit. Samuel went on to reveal something even more profound: “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft …” Disobedience doesn’t remain static—it progresses into rebellion.
And if rebellion is allowed to linger, it hardens into stubbornness. The Scripture goes further by equating stubbornness with iniquity and idolatry. Why? Because a stubborn heart enthrones self above the Word. It is self-worship—esteeming one’s own views above divine instruction.
This is why corrections from the Spirit are treasures. They’re expressions of God’s love, pulling us back into alignment with His perfect will. Never take them lightly. To reject the Spirit’s correction is to build an altar to oneself, but to yield humbly is wisdom and life.
GO DEEPER
Proverbs 29:1 NIV Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for the clarity and power of your Word and the transformation it brings to my life. My heart is tender and yielded to your instructions and guidance always. I esteem your voice above every other opinion or preference, and I walk in submission to your will, and I live in the liberty and joy of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

HAVE A PRAISE PARTY!
2 Chronicles 20:21
...He appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness... saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”
Praise is a powerful way to let God work in any situation.
When King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah were surrounded by enemies, they didn’t fight with swords. Rather, they praised God. As they sang and worshipped Him, God caused their enemies to be defeated (2 Chronicles 20:20–37).
That’s the power of praise! When things look difficult, don’t complain or worry. Praise God instead. Sing, worship, and thank Him for His goodness. Paul and Silas did the same thing in prison, and God set them free! (Acts 16:25-26).
So don’t wait until you feel like singing. Lift your hands and praise the Lord, for His mercy never ends!
SCRIPTURE READING
Psalm 145:1–5 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. [2] Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. [3] Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. [4] One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. [5] I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
SAY THIS
I praise your Name, O Lord, and thank you for being so good to me. You are my Healer, my Helper, and my Provider. I’ll keep praising you always! Amen.

The Church is built and established on Christ forever. Learn more in this Friday's Rhapsody.
Acts 20:32 says, 'And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified'.
Acts 19:20 says, 'So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed'.
At our times of prayer today, we'll pray earnestly in tongues of the Spirit, and for the growth and advancement of the Word, the world over; that the saints may walk in the fullness of the blessings of the gospel of Christ, as we see the day of the Lord approaching. Amen. God bless you.

Never let the thought of money control your attitude. When you are delivered from that mindset, you will not know when you have money or when you do not, because you do not operate by numbers.
#𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦
I affirm that I walk in supernatural abundance today, for the Lord has pleasure in my prosperity and has made me a distributor of eternal verities to my world (Psalm 35:27). Wealth and tremendous grace are multiplied unto me daily because I function by divine wisdom, and by wisdom, riches, honour, and enduring substance are with me (Proverbs 8:18). Money comes to me in abundance and with ease from every direction because the favour of God surrounds me like a shield and causes men and opportunities to gravitate toward me (Psalm 5:12).
I am plugged into heaven’s endless supply system; therefore, I never lack, struggle, or experience dryness because my God supplies all I require according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). I have more than enough for every good work because God's grace abounds toward me continually, causing me to prosper in all things and at all times (2 Corinthians 9:8). The blessing of the Lord is working in my life mightily, producing increase, expansion, open doors, and extraordinary financial miracles without sorrow (Proverbs 10:22).
I function with the mentality of prosperity and kingdom wealth because I have received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness to reign in life victoriously (Romans 5:17). I am fruitful, productive, and highly profitable in all my investments, businesses, ideas, and projects. The Spirit of excellence and extraordinary wisdom is at work in me (Daniel 6:3). Nations seek after the wisdom God has deposited in me, and kings are drawn to the brightness of my rising and the excellence of my results (Isaiah 60:3).
I dwell in the realm of unending prosperity, where opportunities, favour, contracts, and divine connections are released unto me continually. I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). I lay up gold as dust and walk in extraordinary financial dominion. The Lord is my defence and my inexhaustible treasure (Job 22:24-25). I am enriched in all things and empowered to finance the Gospel boldly and lavishly in these last days (2 Corinthians 9:11). Glory to God!

THE POWER OF HOLY COMMUNION
1 Corinthians 10:16
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
As a child of God, taking the Holy Communion is very important. It’s more than just bread and wine. It’s a special time to remember the Lord Jesus and what He did for you.
The bread reminds us of Jesus’ body, given for us, and the cup reminds us of His blood, shed so we could be forgiven and live a new life.
When you take the Communion, you’re saying, “I belong to Jesus, and I share in His life and victory.” That’s why we take the Communion with respect and thankfulness, remembering how much Jesus loves us.
Through the Communion, we remember that Jesus gave His life so we can live every day in His love, peace, and victory.
SCRIPTURE READING
Matthew 26:26-28 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. [27] And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; [28] For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
SAY THIS
I thank you, loving Father, for the body of Jesus that was given for me and His blood that was shed for my sake. Because of Him, I live in victory and righteousness. Hallelujah!
